If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
Everything makes sense in someone's mind.

I'm receiving all emails from Bob just fine. No problems here in Alabama.
When you are dead, you won't even know that you are dead. It's a pain only felt by others.
Same thing when you are stupid.

I haven't been, but earlier today I received a bunch of them that have built up over the last few days that were never sent until today.

It's fixed now, for me anyway.

Are you receiving emails when someone posts a comment or reply in QA or the forums?
Some of us aren't, and I'm interested to see how many, and what the distribution is.
If you are, please reply to this post.
[edit]Emails are now fixed, and everybody just got a large backlog![/edit]

Emails dried up since yesterday. Nothing today.
Get me coffee and no one gets hurt!

So that's posted under the wrong heading then...
Do you want me to delete it?

Oops! Ok to delete it. By the way: Some of yesterday's messages just came through.

I wasn't until two minutes ago, when I got a notification for a QA comment that was posted over two hours ago.

Just got a page full of them, so perhaps it's working now? (I hadn't been getting them all week)

SO I answered "No" above, but have just now had the complete backlog of god-knows-how-many all come through at once!

.. the game engine... what exactly does installing Steam on a PC do? Would I be an idiot for installing it on a work computer (at home - I work from home)?

That's ... annoying! I want a *relaxing* game (so no FPS's for starters) and have seen Euro Truck Simulator 2 recommended for such, and it looks like it might be what I want, but it's Steam powered... (and dirt cheap.)

I just hate Steam: it wants to update every time you want a quick play...
But are you sure that putting games on a work PC sends the right message about what you are doing while "working at home" anyway?

The only person I'm sending a message to is myself! Oh well, maybe I'll try the other PC hooked up the TV - bigger screen, but not so readily available when I'm meant to be working!

So basically your boss is an a***hole and your employee is a lazy 'f'er?
Self employment is great isn't it?
I'm pretty sure I would not like to live in a world in which I would never be offended.
I am absolutely certain I don't want to live in a world in which you would never be offended.

You got that right - he leaves me to do ALL the work, from tea-boy to coding to management, while he just sits there playing games and posting sh*t on some web forum. I'd give him a smack if it wouldn't hurt so much

My kid uses it. A lot. Mostly it's a disk hog.
Try Goat Simulator.
We also play some "party game" things which are fun -- each player users a mobile device as a controller.
