I think it is reasonable. You cant test with anything toxic, or anything too good, in case it f***s up, so an old car is ideal.

I know some managers who I would like to see as test payload.

I thought it was quite smart, if it doesn't get too far the car could tow it back. (May need to swap out the batteries from the rocket.)

Are you volunteering your car?
Elon is putting up his personal possessions, but I'm sure he'd taken suitable donations.

My comment wasn't actually meant to be sarcastic. As expensive as launches are, a scientific package of some description would have been a much better use of resources. A Tesla roadster is not a scientific package, and just makes the inhabitants of the planet look even more stupid to anyone that might be passing through.

However, a Shelby Mustang or whatever that beast you launch yourself in is ... is an experiment in ego and hormones.

ELO - Ticket To The Moon
If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time - a tremendous whack.

We all know that StackOverflow is useless - and surely something like this couldn't happen here in QA, could it?
Sorry to everybody that are happily unfacebooking, but I failed to find the pic anywhere else...

No need - you did it now.
Guess it depends on your job. From my pov it's not nsfw. Not any more than anything else you browse that it unrelated to your actual job...

The problem is not that it might be NSFW, the problem is that it is not rated PG which if you look at the top of the forum, this forum is supposed to be kept PG.
