If you've already spent several hours then I can guarantee someone, somewhere, is just as frustrated.
So: yes please!
cheers

So I woke up at 0430 and couldn't get back to sleep. Started the roku, amazon and started skimming. Found "The Final Countdown". Forgot what a great film it is. Yes, Kirk Douglas is terrible, hammy and looks like he just didn't want to be there but the rest of the cast were excellent (ok, so some of the extras were a little wooden but that doesn't spoil it.). Worth a watch if you've never seen it.

I bought it on Amazon Video a while back. My son and I just watched it 2 weeks ago. Great move! Young Martin Sheen!
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
Everything makes sense in someone's mind.
Ya can't fix stupid.

Can we use forums like this website to take help for the problems in the code and paste code when making software for closed companies like Apple. Which don't want to release any kind of code to any companies even for service companies.
|
|
|
|
|
That might be a question you need to ask the company you work for... they will have a better idea of the policies involved. That being said, I'm sure it happens on a daily basis without us even knowing it.

Yes, you can; you just can put copyrights on the parts of the code that is public; which is hardly ever relevant.
In that way, the forum has the same status as any book on the subject. You're allowed to reuse the code, just not to publish it "as your own".

Made this today: Underwater Chicken ไก่ใต้นำ้ - Recipe & Video Tutorial[^]
Absolutely incredible. If you like Thai food, give it a go, and use a tight fitting pan full of cold water to seal off the pan the food cooks in, it works. It condenses the steam (and flavour) back into the pot.

Nice chicken stew.
You could just use a regular heavy lid instead of the water bowl.
I'd rather be phishing!
|
|
|
|
|
No - because the idea is that the cold water extracts the heat from the steam and recondenses it: so the chicken never gets to a high temperature, and eventually stews in it's own juices.
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

I dont think the lid would stay cold enough to condense all the steam back into the food.
I had to change the water twice, it is surprising how hot it got.
And notably the kitchen did not smell at all, ie all the flavour was put back into the stew, and the result was truly superb.

|
|
|
You know, with a little experimentation that could work really well in a Sous Vide since that is all about not losing steam, and controlling the temperature ... I may play with it this summer.
Thanks!

Yeah, I was wondering what it would do for a european style stew in terms of flavour.
The notable thing was the kitchen did not smell, and considering I used 2 tablespoons of fish sauce, that was surprising!

Sounds weird, so definitely going to try it

I'm very happy to see you are getting some Thai culture.

Now you can avoid the need to create your own pithy commit messages with

You might want to avoid it on production systems though.

SikTh - Philistine Philosophies[^]
Read a lot of good things about SikTh before, but never really checked them out.
Until this week that is.
YouTube recommended this video and as I'm into the more technical extreme metal lately I thought I'd give it a try.
Been listening to this song and their latest album for the rest of the week

Nice poppy sound.
You might like Theodor Bastard[^], a different kind of folk and less poppy, but very good (especially live!)
