Beer drinkers like hopera (but trendy beer drinkers prefer hip hop).
Bacardi drinkers tend to go for rum 'n' bass, but true pirates are particularly partial to a bit of grog rock.
Lovers of white wine like hock 'n' roll but those who like red wine prefer rioja-billy.

They also listen to heady metal - just not too much.

Red wine drinkers will listen to any corking good tune playing at the Caberet Sauvignon. But everyone nose that!

If only the misery ended with my gas and electricity provider...
Last week I switched to a new internet and television package.
I'm going from 40 mb/sec to super fast 200 mb/sec internet!
Anyway, I decided to check out my account to see how the order is coming along.
If they have that data on my account at all.
However, I can't remember ever logging in to that account.
The only reason I'm their customer is because my old provider merged with them.
So I go to their website and see if I can retrieve my password. Nothing.
I tried creating an account, which requires a customer number, from which they can tell me that I already have an account...
Last resort, forgot username or email option... But it works the same as the create an account page.
All it tells me is that my customer number already has an account and I don't get an email with my password
Seems like I'm going to have to make some calls
WTF is wrong with these companies?

I never come there anymore, but I just did and now I'll have to scratch my eyes out with a spoon.

My ISP sends out an email every time my plan is about to expire. The email has only one line.
Your plan is about to expire soon. <something along="" the="" lines="" of="" give="" us="" money="">
They don't tell when.

In this case, I think your internet provider is run by the DNC (or maybe even Hillary Clinton herself). They can't find anyone's data/emails either.

Sounds like the evening I spent wasted a few months ago, trying to sort out one of my relatives' Bell account. Had to do a password reset, but in order to do that, I had to login first. I quickly exhausted all options and kept getting forwarded to pages that rejected everything I could provide.
The chat-bot I talked to insisted he was human, but if that's the case, it's high time for the machines to take over, well, at least his job. Artificial or not, I could not detect any intelligence.
In the end it took a Bell employee (who happened to be friends with my relative) to make some internal calls to "undocumented numbers" to get his password reset.

So today I got an email from my gas and electricity company that they want to "do things differently."
I don't know how people in other countries get billed, but over here you pay the same amount each month and once a year someone comes to check on your meter and what your actual usage was and you either get money back or have to pay extra.
It's an archaic system and people fear the yearly end bill.
Now, with the "new" system they want to give people a reminder to check their own meter every few months.
Here's the good part though: lots of people, including myself, have "SMART" METERS!
The company can read my actual usage at any time they please!
This has been bothering me for a while, so I decided to reply to the mail by clicking the "contact" link.
I got a 404... "This [provider]-web-tst.azurewebsites.net page can’t be found"
Head over to their website, contact page, and find their chat is unavailable, but I also can't send an email during business hours because they want you to use chat
Does this even count as a single fail?

you do realise they will sympathise with you and tell you your feedback is important, and then...
do it their own way anyway.
sometimes it is worth fighting the system, most of the time though: not.
