Sounds suspicious. Are you sure they're not using the cats to make the coffee on-site?
|

Sharp observation, but I'm pretty sure they didn't, because it was just plain, bland coffee they served

Have you tasted "that other kind" to compare?

Awesome!! A coffe house that would kill my wife and kids just by entering.
Although... some days I reaaaally feel the need for a coffee!

Free-roaming animals inside a premisis where comestibles are served?
Are they sure it's legal?

I think it's legal, there are also restaurants where dogs (!) are allowed. Besides the kitchen was placed in some sort of glass aquarium so the cats could not get in.

I think we must have been watching different cartoons.

It's Twelfth Night tonight, so the Badtis decorations have been taken down, packed neatly away, and store until next December (With the assistance of Dij The Cat, without whom things would have proceeded much more smoothly, and with less swear words).
The house looks dull, and flat - and I guess my consumption (or overconsumption) of chocolate will have to be tapered off now as well. Oh well, it was a good season (excepting the TV which was trite, predictable, and boring).
Hope you had a good season, and wish you all a good year ahead!

The 9V battery is also referred to as type E.
There's also a 4⁄5AA type.
(yeah - busy, busy day here and I'm desperate for distraction)

And as a PP3 - and inside most of 'em are six AAAA cells, which is handy if you have a tablet pen for example. (A pair of E cells is £5 from Amazon, a pair of AAAAs is £3.15 ...)

Make a note of the brand though.
Once I opened a 9V battery that contained six prismatic cells instead.
Can't remember the brand, but it was extra heavy duty.

No, the cells inside a 9v are much, much smaller than AAAA. I have a package of AAAA's because my laptop's pen uses them.
The difficult we do right away...
...the impossible takes slightly longer.

Shows how long it is since I disembowelled a 9V PP3 type! Must have been 1960s. It was zinc-carbon, 6 flat rectangular cells stacked. (Must have been a precursor to iJunk - they had rounded corners.)

Nothing had rounded corners before the iphone.
We know that for a fact, because if anything had had rounded corners before the iphone, then apple would not have been given the patent for rounding corners on things -- or what, do you think the US patent office is manned by idiots?
If you thought you saw rounded corners on things before then, you were hallucinating, imagining it, and should pay apple money for imagining their intellectual property.

Including making 4Kg of chilli, slicing the ham I cooked yesterday, and then finding the vacuum sealer has stopped sealing.
So I disassemble the vacuum sealer, and find the heater strip is broken. OK, let's find a new one ... Nope, I can get the material (and really cheap!) but only from China and it'll be February before it arrives. So I order a really cheap vacuum sealer on next day Amazon Prime delivery, and a 3m roll of heater wire from Hong Kong, then reassemble the sealer so it won't get damaged by the cat and I'll remember where everything goes.
And I've got two screws left over ...
One.
Of.
Those.
Days.
