Already looked into that - costs too much. I want free or pretty-damn-close-to-free.

In a similar vein, hearing yourself describe a process allows you to transcend the topic, and actually think of different (better?) ways to approach a problem. It's the same as "talking to the dog", but in this case, I'm the dog. As I was scripting out the screen-cast, this happened a few times. Woof!
I don't have a dog myself, but my sister has one. I've tried that with him before, but he's always more interested in talking about Apple products. I suppose that's fitting, as I've always thought shitzus are kinda gay.
[Edit]
Before anyone gets his panties in a bunch...I was assured by a gay relative of mine it's ok to make this sort of joke, since:
a) nobody but young women in their 20s and gay couples want anything to do with small useless dogs
b) he's made the observation himself that there seems to be more Mac users amongst the gay population than the population at large. It's been a running joke between me and him pretty much since he came out.

+ Rich widows (including rich 'business widows' where the husband is always 'away on business')
+ Some Asian nationalities ... mustn't add that's because food that follows you around is damn handy ...Doh!
there really is a thriving market out there for useless mutts.

... or are Amazon taking the urine?
Tiamat's Wrath: Book 8 of the Expanse[^] is due out on Thursday.
And the Kindle version is 3 quid more than the paperback.
OK, electronic books have VAT on them - 20% - but even without that we are looking at £9.16 vs £7.99. And the paperback includes packaging, next day delivery - the electronic version has no print costs, no material costs, no delivery costs ... so why is it more expensive than the "physical" version?

why does the latest samsung or apple phone cost more than a laptop?
why do low profile tires cost 5 X the price of normal ones?
why is stuff in the department store 10 X the price of the dollar store?
why does water from the corner shop cost more than petrol?
...
These are not questions to ask the people selling... it's the buyers that got it wrong.
Buy the paperback, and bank some good karma [when you've read it] by donating it to the sallies. (The polar whales won't miss one tree.)

I haven't bought a book in ages. I have library of more than 500, and I can't read a single one of them anymore (eyeballs are degrading, and not gracefully). Everything I have in on Kindle, and generally go for the free ones. Cataract surgery left me with poor close up vision, but just right for monitors, and after more than 60 years of wearing glasses, I can put up with poor closeup vision.
I FINALLY get to buy stylish sunglasses!

Speaking of which... reading my employee agreement right now...
There is a section called "Maximum Weekly Hours of Work", 38 hours plus reasonable additional hours.
I am not sure this definition is a good fit for "Maximum"....

Back, long ago, when I worked for US Dept of Energy, the then Director of the facility said that line about the Squeaky Wheel - trying to make me feel I should keep shaking things up.
I noted to him that it is also the Squeaky Wheel that's first to be replaced.
