I heard a sink-hole appeared in the middle of the highway. The police are looking into it.

Nice joke. On a related but serious side, to show how bad things are in New Orleans, several months ago an 8 year old kid with a .45 caliber pistol, tried to hi-jack a Police Car, while the officer was in it!

I've somehow managed to have two accounts. This one and another one. No idea how I did that, but they've both been in existence for a while.
Can they be merged? Actually, I don't even know if the other account has anything worthwhile in it to be merged. Probably not.
Sigh.

|
|
|
|
We can't - only the admins can.
If you decide they would be worth merging, just ask here: Bugs and Suggestions[^] and Chris will do the deed.

I'll try logging into the other and see if it's worth it. Maybe just delete it.

That's easy to do once you are logged in:
1) Hover over your username at the top right of the page. A drop down list will open.
2) Select "My Settings" from the list.
3) In the resulting page, select the "Privacy" tab.
4) There are two options:
4.1) Under "Account status" there is a checkbox "Close my account"
4.2) Under "Forget me Forever" there is a checkbox "Forget me. Forever."
5) Select the appropriate checkbox, make sure that "I have read and agree..." is ticked, and press "Save my Settings".
6) The rest is history ... as is your account.

And just after step 5 you realize that you are on the account you want to keep using...
I, for one, like Roman Numerals.

We can really only merge articles from one account to another, I'm afraid.

S'okay. I deleted the other account. I think. We'll see. :p

"Send to your devices", on the tab right click menu.
If you sign into multiple device using Google, then you can send a webpage between them with a simple click.
So I can send a page to my android devices (a recipe to my phone, for example when I need to get the ingredients), or my Surface, or to my Desktop (for a technical item maybe.)
Much, much easier than sending myself an email! Like it.

Been there for a while, can't say for how long though.

Cannot see it on my version. I assume it requires an option to be set.

Are you signed in to Chrome, so it knows who you are?

It works for me.
Type "chrome://flags" into the address bar, and search for "Send tab".
Mine is set to "Default", but your's could be set to "Disabled"?
What version are you running - I'm on Version 77.0.3865.90 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Same setting, same version. Most odd, I need to do some Googling ...
|
|
|
|
|
The odd thing is ... my Surface, Nexus, and Phone can see each other and the desktop, but the desktop can only see the Surface and Tablet, but not the phone.
And they are all running the same version number of Chrome ...

It seems (from Google forum) that other people are having the same issue.

I changed the setting to 'Enabled' and now it's working. When I did that earlier this morning it was not ... Go(ogle) figure, as they are wont to say.

It's been around for quite some time now. It needs one to sign in to chrome though.

Reason enough not to log into Chrome. But then, they already do plenty of tracking without requiring you to log into Chrome at all. Which is why I've resisted for years to have it on my machine.
