The quote doesn't mention, but maybe something no programmer ever had a problem with, like reflection or JavaScript... Wait a minute

Dear Nika,
About four and a half years ago I went to the animal shelter to get a cat.
That wasn't very hard because actually you picked me.
I could pet you and you seemed to like it, which never happened since you were in there.
Your caretaker even asked me if I was sure I wanted you a couple of times because you were difficult and needed some serious socializing.
I took you home, but it took you a few months to get used to the new environment and to me.
Nevertheless, slowly you let me pet you, you came closer to me and one fine night you even jumped into bed with me.
Since then, we slept, ate and watched tv together.
I'm so proud of how much you changed.
Unfortunately, your journey ended today, at age 11, after a three week battle with cancer.
I had to let you sleep in, which was the hardest decision in my life.
I'm really sad you're gone, but I'm also really thankful we've had this time together.
Good night, dear Nika.
Love,
Sander
P.S. F*** cancer.

Remember the good times, not the bad: you gave her the best years of her life, and that is the greatest gift possible.
Rest in peace, Nika.

Sorry to hear you lost your friend!
It's been 6 months since I joined the gym and there's been no progress. I'm going there tomorrow in person to find out what's really going on!

A good pick she made; sad to hear it had to end.

Sorry to hear that, your story reminds me of our cats which were all "giveaways".
Even the one that was not socializing turned out ok after some time.
