Yes, it's a good place for answers. The downside is that it's a hangout for puffed-up language lawyers and snotty moderators.

DID SOMEONE OMIT CURLY BRACES WITH ONE SENTENCE IF-STATEMENTS!?
If so, I'm always in for a good witch burning

I'm not disagreeing with that statement in any way, shape or form. But try to post something--get involved and try to be an active participant as opposed to just googling things and ending up on SO--and the experience becomes something else altogether.

I completely missed that it was April Fools Day. Proof, if needed, that I have no idea what day it is anymore. Worst case scenario, is that I'll be getting up on Saturday morning and "going to work"!

Apple acquires popular weather app Dark Sky and will shut down the Android version - The Verge[^]
I've never heard of Dark Sky before. But I'm curious, what would Apple want with it? Thoughts?
Somehow it must be part of their plan to overtake the world but I'm not imaginative enough to see how.
