Slow learner I see.
If you want help from people, it's a bad idea to ignore what they say to you - particularly if you have already "broken the rules".
Einstein said "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results."
If you persist, you will get different results: you will be treated as a troll and kicked off the site.
Now, read what you were told below, and follow the advice you have been given ...

Yeah, he found some Python code and needed to hand it in as VB. Not the sharpest knife in the box, I suspect ...

That's actually one of his most misattributed quotes. And it's so popular people keep on using it. Go figure.

You're not getting the hang of this, are you .. you were advised below Quote: Read the stuff at the top of the page: the Lounge is not for coding questions. Post it here instead: Ask a Question[^]
Ignoring the rules and annoying people you want free help from is not a good idea ... ... you're coming dangerously close to the tolerance level for annoyance

I want to see a hash function that takes in potatoes, corned beef, onions, and peppers as input and spits out one hell of a hash.

This isn't the correct spot to post this - please delete it and post it in a language appropriate forum - the Lounge is for general NO CODE discussion
oh, and expecting anyone here to go off-site to see your code - er, no .. please display the smallest amount of code you have to illustrate the issue(s) when you post the question in the appropriate place

Read the stuff at the top of the page: the Lounge is not for coding questions. Post it here instead: Ask a Question[^]
Ignoring the rules and annoying people you want free help from is not a good idea ...
In addition, don't post your code to a random site and give us a link - when you post your question give us just the relevant code fragments, and paste them directly into the question instead of expecting us to follow a link and try to work out which bits of your whole code are important.
The more you help us to help you, the better the answer you can get.
Just saying "I need to do this" doesn't help you either: tell us what you have tired, what happened when you did, where you are stuck, and what help you need.
Finally: "ASAP" or any other indication of urgency doesn't speed up responses - it says either "I left my homework too late and need to hand it in" or "I'm too arrogant to wait - do it quickly", niether of which will endear you to anybody. Which slows down responses ...

I was learning a language with audio, and was not particularly happy with the features the media players for what I was doing, so I created a small application specifically to work with language learning audio. It stays on top, is designed to be quite small, has opacity so that it is always accessible, and you can use the space key to play and pause, the < and > to jump forward and back, configure a bunch of feature like opacity and how much time to jump, use of modifier keys to change to jump amount, you can set up a play list, and select from the list, stop the application and it will start again as the same point, a recently used list. I would like to upload this, but CNET requires me to have a web site, which I do not have. Any recommendations?

I was planning to eventually do that, but, although maybe some interest programmers given some of the ways I implemented features, I wanted to just post for general public consumption.

Sorry to be blunt,
looks like a cool small "niche" app.
But, IMO, There's nothing groundbreaking in your application (opacity??, space to play/pause??, playlist ?? ) to warrant a publication.
I would try to make it as a mobile app (maybe it is now?) and publish it on Google and Apple stores and see how it goes.
I'd rather be phishing!

I was gonna say, maybe I'm misunderstanding the "learning a language" part, but I haven't read anything in there that isn't already part of countless other media players.

Again...you do no know what this app looks like. When I say learning a language, you know like "Pimsleur Chinese (Mandarin) Level 3." It has features specifically for that. I can send you a copy, and then you can decide if it is a nice little app. What app can you actually tell it when you press a keyboard key or a button to go back a number of seconds you choose. It has a single playlist, and when you start it up it can go back exactly where it was. It will keep track of the number of times you have listened to a track. Things that really are not generally useful. You might be able to get a skin for WMP or VLC that do the same thing, but then you are stuck with that when you don't want it unless you go to the effort of going back to the original skin. And you did not answer the question...you just decided to be very negative. So many nice people in the world.
