You had better get to the optometrist after your meeting.
One person said Toy Soldiers and the other said Toy Story. You have told both they are correct, but as they are different movies one has to be wrong.

I was thinking that I should perfactly learn bootstrap because it makes easy and responsive design of your application. I don't need a designer to create template for me and consistent look. Bootstrap provide a couple of additional .less files, and @importthem in bootstrap.less. I use one for variables, imported right below variables.less and one for classes, imported at the end of the boostrap.less list. This way, I ensure that I can override both variables and classes.
When I implement bootstratp2 with MVC than UI code makes more lengthy . I add lot of span and div so I download twitterbootstrapmvc and it makes easy development for me. This time all this are open source and free.
But now we have bootstrap 3 (css +js) that is free and open source so we can use it and modify it. But again it makes more lengthy UI design so we need to download twitterbootstrapmvc but this time it is paid and I think, Bootstrap price($59.99) is not a reasonable price so I am not using it further. What happen when Dmitry A. Efimenko decide it more high price. What do you think?
I should be continuing with this while I am not using it any commercial application?

I am kind of lost. Bootstrap is Free, and TwitterBootstrapMVC is also Free. So what is the problem?
Also I don't see how Bootstrap makes the UI code lengthy, you just need to learn using the bootstrap properly. When we were using Bootstrap for our ASP.Net MVC Web Application, we had created a set of custom scaffolding templates for CRUD Views, which was utilizing the Bootstrap. It was easy to implement and very fast to use.
I would suggest you to properly learn take a closer look at the Bootstrap 3 and ditch the TwitterBootstrapMVC. IMHO You should not rely on something that is already relying on something else, specially when both the things are open-source and free.

Exactly, even worse what will happen when they stopped supporting it, or close down the project. These are the risks you take when you use someone else's code/work for free. Goes for every open-source project.
To avoid this, we have created our own custom-css / javascript to support responsive design in our ASP.Net MVC Web Application. Trust me the CSS3 + Media-Queries are not that complex to learn.
Also our in-house alternative works much better since we are the one who have developed it for ourselves. Now we are not relying on bootstrap, and the best part is one less framework to chase when they release a new version.

Oh! I missed that. You are right, that price is ridiculous. Just ditch that and use the Bootstrap directly.
I still think that the UI Code required by Bootstrap is not lengthy. Take a look.[^]
Just put some extra efforts in creating a set of Custom Scaffolding Templates using Bootstrap. And it will be very simple to use.

It is ok with APS.NET Web Form but what do you think about ASP.NET MVC where you need lot of span and div tags?
|
|
|
|
|
I was talking about the ASP.Net MVC only.
Yes, there are few more Divs than usual, but they are not 'a lot'. Also the default views in MVC 5 are much more cleaner than MVC 3/4. So the key is to create a clean scaffolding template using Bootstrap for MVC 5.
And if you don't want to create the templates by yourself. Download[^] this nuget package and customize it. But this is again just like your previous experience, depending upon something that is relying on something else.

Hi.
I'm going to buy a Lumia phone. One of my friend suggested me Nokia Lumia 1320.
Can you guys plz add your inputs & suggestions.
Thanks.

1320 is a nice phone. The screen has bit lower resolution when comparing with the screen-size (same thing with the 625), but other than that it's a good device.
I would suggest you to spend 6-7k Rupees more and consider 925. It's a very nice phone, also it has a perfect manageable screen-size and a great camera. (IMO: 1320 / 1520 are big phones, but that's a personal preference).
I you are not much into the gaming (< 1 GB ram), 720 is a nice budget phone with a long lasting battery life (2 full days on a single charge).
And if you want to consider cheaper Android phone, take a look at the Moto G. (much better than the cheaper and terrible Samsung galaxy phone lineup)
