I would stick with flat monitors, yes plural you need two at least.
Flat because it is easier for eyes to stay focused when everything is in the same plane. Try reading a piece of text on a curved piece of paper in landscape.
Have one eye makes this even more problematic, I think.
24" at least, 2K is already a good improvement. 4K has more definition but I am not sure if the software we use renders correctly at that resolution.

Do pirates not play card games because they stand on the deck?
Last "themed" TotD for the moment at least - as far as I know. Things may change, who can tell?

Pirates play Cribbage. They use someone's peg leg as the board.

You have to watch them or they'll club you!

Especially when standing on the poop.

Maybe seeing a one eyed jack hits a little too close to home for them.

I hate to break it to you Griff but there is scientific proof that all pirate jokes are bad.
It’s called the walk-the-plank’s constant

On a scale of 1 to 10, that was pi-rated.

Aram Khachaturian - Sabre Dance[^]
This week, @Ed-Aymami posted his alternative SOTW, Edvard Grieg, and I stuck with the classical theme.
Coincidence has it that I recently created a playlist with all my favorite tracks from the past 15 years or so, and some classical pieces have made it into that list.
For some reason, I always hear the same subset of songs, even though I play the list on shuffle.
One of those songs is Aram Khachaturian's Sabre Dance from his ballet Gayaneh.
Sabre Dance is an awesome piece, it's fast and has lots of percussion.
I can also recommend the entire ballet, which also has lots of percussion (for a classical piece).
Back when I was a kid, like six to nine years old, I had a couple of cassettes with stories and fairy tales.
One of those cassettes had Treasure Island (or in Dutch "Schateiland") on them and this song was the soundtrack, loved that one as a kid.
I can still hear an ominous voice saying "SCHAAAATEILAAAAND" with this song playing in the back
So this is a SOTW that's been 25 years in the making

I know them, they were somewhat successful in the 70's over here.
I think my dad used to listen to them when he was young, loooong before I was born

I have almost all their albums and also listened to them before you were born.

Good choice for tonight.
Kinda funny. Even though the tune was fast and pacy, it managed to settle my nerves after watching my team, Manly Sea Eagles (Rugby League), bow out of of the finals tonight after a very exciting match.

I know a name where all the wankers must have that name. Even their favorite toy[^] was named after them.
I have lived with several Zen masters - all of them were cats.
His last invention was an evil Lasagna. It didn't kill anyone, and it actually tasted pretty good.
