Correct.
As it was my first one, I had no idea if it was too easy or too hard. Obviously, a bit on the easy side.

Don't let Griff be the benchmark for too easy... he is pretty darn good at them after all.
It was a good first clue

Yumi Kimura - Always With Me (Piano)[^]
This is part of the soundtrack of Studio Ghibli's movie Spirited Away.
Except that the original has vocals and this is a piano-only arrangement.
I've known the song for years, but didn't hear this piano arrangement until last week.
Already got the sheet music for it so I can try it out for myself.
Pretty much every song of every Ghibli soundtrack was written by Joe Hisaishi, but this song was apparently written by Yumi Kimura, who I think also sings on the original.
Amazing and soothing song and very much SOTW

That reminds me... did you get around to playing Ni No Kuni 2 yet? If so, how do you compare it to the first?

As a matter of fact, I did!
Got my platinum trophy about a week ago.
Tried the DLC's, but those were mainly lots and lots of grinding, so I played about half of those.
I never got the platinum for the first because that required lots of grinding too.
It's not nearly as good as the first.
Maybe because the first was new and fresh and this one is more of the same.
The battle system is slightly different though, you play with the people instead of small creatures, but there are still small creatures around that give you bonuses and trigger special attacks.
What I didn't like about it was the story, or lack thereof.
In the first few minutes, there's a coup in Ding Dong Dell and the would-be king Evan goes out to make a new kingdom.
Of course you have to visit several cities and everywhere you come is a bad guy who has evil plans.
Still, I enjoyed it enough to platinum it, so I guess it's not completely fair to say I didn't like it
If the first was a 9/10 (or even a perfect 5/7!), this one would be closer to a 7/10.
Joe Hisaishi's soundtrack is great as always.

Well done on the plat.
I gave up plat for both of them, the first one was way too grindy with having to do all the recipes (and collect the ultra-rare ingredients). The second, I think I was put off by the side quests where you go through those doors or something... it's been a while since I played it.
I definitely preferred the first one too. Just something about the characters/story in the second that didn't work as well, but like you said it could have been the "then uniqueness" of the first one that made it so enjoyable.
I hope they will do a 3rd one though, even if it's more of the same.

Very calming. Loved it.
You got me thinking about soothing film music - and this sprang into my head. As well as being the soundtrack to my youth, it was used in, (probably), the greatest ever horror movie. For such a peaceful piece of music, it works incredibly well.

I know that song from Bassie & Adriaan, a Dutch tv program that entertained generations of kids
It's about a clown and an acrobat (from the circus) who are after the evil baron.
I never really understood what made the baron evil, but he was always pretty mad and he had a henchman who secretly followed Basse & Adriaan and a henchman who was always making explosives (and blowing up himself and the baron).
Anyway, whenever the baddies chased after Bassie & Adriaan it played Tubular Bells
Have you ever listened to the entire song?
It's over forty minutes split over two halves of an LP and it's not particularly soothing.
Some parts are even quite stressing

Great music though.

Pop? That's my best guess, but in a way they did define the generation of Rock and Roll, as they were one of the greatest selling groups of that time. Maybe that is why they were included in the concert.

I think he's an idiot, but I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
I'm sure he'll pull through - he'll have the best care money can buy after all.
But you have to wonder just how many others he has infected recently ...

My toes are fine - Herself got Covid Toe (and lung damage which means she's on Ventolin at the moment while we wait for the result of a CAT scan she had on Tuesday), we both got Covid Hair, and I managed to end up with mild Covid Eye and Covid Ear. Stamina is still a problem, but I'm reasonably sedentary at the best of times anyway! My taste buds haven't fully recovered but they are getting better.
