I use StarDock's Start-10 tool for my Windows 10 installations. No AdWare or anything like that. However, I don't know about Windows 11 since I haven't installed it yet.
Nonetheless, I understand where you are coming from. I play a lot of Solitaire to cool my mind down from software development and to have to pay to get rid of the incessant ads is something I will not do.

I have a Java version of Solitaire that I could share.
Of course, the problem is… you would have to install Java!
I should probably port it to powershell…

You can disable Bing search FYI.
Do a google search for it. Win10 & Win11 have possible different reg keys for it.
Makes life a lot better.

You really think that because you exert a measurable influence in the Microsoft development ecosystem they're going to listen to you?
Chris, I'm shocked I tell you, shocked. I didn't think you Aussies were that gullible.

The more I hear and experience these things, the more I'm leaning toward Linux. Enough is enough already.

All of them. Yeah, it's a dad joke.

That's amazing "hidden answer technology".
Reminds me of those old Yes & Know (invisible ink) game books [^] -- it was our computer games in the late 70s.
Hadn't thought of those in a long time.

How many famous men were born in Illinois?
None, only little babies are born in Illinois.

Depending on the level of your general knowledge, the answer is either "all of them" or "none of them".

The same holds true in Canada. There's a theory that all the weirdos ended up on the Left coast because they never fit in where they were, so they kept migrating westward until they could go no farther.

Only because they aren't lemming-like enough.

Castreau did spend many years on the Left coast, which partially explains things.

I think it was Arkansas (maybe Louisiana?) where they have a trigger law (that they're already enforcing apparently) where a woman has to carry an ectopic pregnancy to term.
If we're talking about stupid laws.
