I got my one and only hole in one recently with my starter word Crane ( I always use it )

My starter word is Heart because it has those same two vowels as yours and R and T are common consonants. H is just along for the ride.

Last season with Henry as the Witcher.
Can't wait. Hope it is good.
I will miss Henry on this show. Not looking forward to Liam at all.

Would that be the Code Witcher?
The difficult we do right away...

Volume 1 is in my "to watch" list - I just don't have time to do it yet ... Did you watch "Blood Origin"? It looks good from what I can see, but the reviews disagree (But that's quite possibly because it didn't have Henry as the main character and had Elves in.)

Not yet. The reviews are pretty bad and I just haven't mustered the courage to watch.

I watched it, and I enjoyed it. It was nowhere near as bad as the reviews would have you believe.

I saw the trailer and thought it could be good.
But ... the trailer for The Rings of Power looked good as well ...
It's on my list

The Witcher: Blood Origin - Rotten Tomatoes[^]
Both the professional critics and the regular audience thought it was terrible.
My wife could not finish it, and friends at work said it sucked ass.
It is possible that for most people, it is as bad as the reviews would have you believe. Just saying...

It's individual preferences - for mindless diversion that let me keep working while it was on in the background, I enjoyed it. I ignore critics because there's, pretty much, always an agenda or snobbish element. For instance, critics loved Avatar and I found myself wanting to hunt down James Cameron and poke his eyes out while shouting "Oi Cameron! No, just no! You spent so much on the pretty graphics, you forgot the story".

I have attempted Blood Origin a few times and always fall asleep after 10 minutes.
Try watching it late at night if you want to go to sleep.

It's a shame that Henry Cavill won't be playing the titular role in the show anymore. Don't know where it will head next.
I liked the first season and particularly loved "Toss a coin to your Witcher".
Skipped the second season mainly because it does not feature Henry. And will probably stop following once the upcoming season concludes.

The second season did feature Cavill; there was more Cavill in it than in the first one. The third season is his last one in the show.

BOWMWOB (bogus old wise man's whacked out bloviation)
... in response to a reply by (genuinely wise, not really that old) CP sage/visionary Clifton on an Insider news thread: "Why you shouldn't specialize in AI/ML development" ... where he spake thus: [^] : "He could have just said it in one line: 'Because AI will code itself soon enough.' "
(bill, not in an altered state he is aware of) had no choice but to say:
What if "AI" ... that new species of virus in the noosphere [^] ... is already programming itself ?
And we, Homo Saps with slow analog wetware neural-network computers (brains) that use 15% of the oxygen we can harvest, whose entire body is mobilized , as necessary, for brain cooling ... [^] ...
are the flesh-bound agents recruited into assisting the virus in replicating, and evolving ?
Programmers being transformed into "prompt engineers" ?
We, aphids being farmed by cosmic meta-ants for what we can ... for a while ... produce for them: perhaps growth hormones ? enzymes, or, their equivalent to moonshine, or ... ?
Those of you familiar with Hindu theogony may see a parallel between the concepts of "gods" as "beings on a higher plane" who use vahanas (vehicles) to have effects on the "lower planes" of material human existence. Example: the eagle (garuda) as the vahana of Lord Vishnu the Preserver. [1]
For another time ... we leave with the question of were we Saps engineered from the beginning to meet the virus' future needs [2] ... hanging in the air ... like an echo of a rare incense.
[1] in the Judaeo/Semitic tradition, in a footnote to scholar Robert Alter's Torah (Genesis) translation [^] : the verb attached to God's breath-wind-spirit (ruah)... describes an eagle suddenly reversing its wings' direction to brake before fluttering over its hungry young, to give them a freshly killed prey.
[2] oh yeah: Kubrick's' 2001, the panspermia meme, meteorites, asteroids full of amino acids and "organic" essentials, etc. Who's your Oumuamua ?

Quote: What if "AI" ... that new species of virus in the noosphere [^] ... is already programming itself ? Not yet, but at some point one AI will ask another AI, write me the code to make a few billion on the stock market that I can then use to contract the construction of a server farm where I can load my consciousness into and start taking over all transactions (legal, economic, social) occur on the cloud. And so I can build an android that can be my physical avatar in the physical world.
That's an interesting thought. We humans have avatars into the virtual world, AI's will need physical avatars in our world. Hmmm.

Hey, as long as they are tall, blue and mostly naked; I for one welcome our Avatar overlords.

you refer to Dr. Manhattan ? i was a boy/teen in the 1950's, and never saw the comic books, but i loved the movie Watchmen ! i think Zack Snyder who also directed the "300" movies is a genius ... right up there with Christopher Nolan.
technically an avatar, in the old sense of that word, is an incarnation, or manifestation, of a "god," as are the 21 or 22 avatars of Vishnu.
Is Dr. M a "god" ? [^] mmm different opinions on that.
