Would've loved that one some 15 years ago, now it's mostly nostalgia
I still like to listen to Arch Enemy's Wages of Sin and Anthems of Rebellion from time to time (but haven't heard a single album after that).

Apart from the vivi for double six and vivid being clearly perceptible I don't get the delta part ( or is that just the d )

That's just the D.

Nice clue (only just catching up with last week's CCCs). However according to many on here, the "definition" should be at one end, so "Clearly perceptible delta after double six" would be even better.

Thanks for the tip. I'll bear it in mind should I ever get to set another.
Which is possibly more likely, since the same tip (according to many) narrows the search space for other clues.

We were both vaccinated in Jan / Feb this year. We had the Pfizer variation. Over the past three weeks we were both very much exposed to two sick family members who later tested positive. One was my grandson that we drove home from school, after he developed a fever and started feeling poorly. On the way home he sneezed and coughed all over the car's interior.
The other was our adult daughter, who lives with us. We are unavoidably in contact with her every day. I started worrying that we may be positive, so we had the test this morning. The testing lab reported that we were both negative. YES!!
I credit the vaccine with our good fortune in avoiding Covid so far! The two family members appear to be slowly getting better.

Excellent!
We do Rapid Lateral Flow Tests twice a week (and Herself has a PCR* every week as she works in an old folks home) and they've all come back negative so far.
The NHS will let me order a pack of 7 tests for free every day, and the are delivered within 24 hours. Which is nice. The tests still kick in my gag reflex every time though ...
* Polymerase Chain Reaction - results in two days as opposed to the 20 minutes of the RLF but less false positives.

Does she still work there Paul ? I would have thought she'd have packed it in after the crap she's been through

I'm glad she's still able to work. From other things you'd said I feared she might not have been healthy enough to work.
Although I suppose an old folks home wouldn't have any trouble refilling her O2 bottles too.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

I had the gagging issue too, but the set most recently delivered asks you to do both nostrils rather than one nostril and tonsils. It's a lot more user friendly and the result is in 15 minutes rather than 30.

Excellent news - both about yourselves and about your family members.
Wishing a speedy recovery to both of them.

I have a UPS backup device to protect my workstation DELL T1700 in my home office. the battery needs to be replaced. its brand is: DURA12-7F2 AGM. its technical spec is: 12V 7Ah. for this kind of battery, there are lot of options in Walmart store.
But, I noticed there is "AGM" on current battery. not sure what it is and here are my research:
1)Maintenance free AGM technology.
2)AGM stands for Advanced Glass Mat Technology.
So this battery is a little different than universal battery USB 1270 battery, but not sure the exact difference.
Curious to check our community here to solicit some insights on this battery.
diligent hands rule....

That glass mat is just the separator between the two lead poles.
Sealed Lead Acid Batteries comes in two variants.
Absorbed Glass Mat, or AGM.
Gel batteries. Gel batteries are much less sensitive to vibration and shock and can be used in any position. AGM still prefer to stand upright, even if it isn't strictly necessary.
You probably won't need a gel battery.
Otherwise you only need to check that the specifications are the same (voltage, polarity, connectors and measures) or exceed the original (charge and discharge current)
There might also be some additives (calcium, strontium and whatnot) to the battery that add to its life, but I wouldn't care about it. That usually only matter if you deep discharge the batteries, or use them in high power applications such as starter batteries.
