Sad but this has lost quite a few relevance the last time. You just have to see what gets approved

If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?

Support documentation on Microsoft’s own website has sparked speculation that perhaps the company might be developing a desktop version of Windows 10 for ARM-based chips. Didn't they try that already?

The bit which made me balk was:
"which might hint that Microsoft could release a version of Windows 10 that might be able to run on x86 chips made by companies like Intel. This is all speculation at this point in time."
Windows, running on x86, whoda thunk it.
In fact, Windows 10 already does run on ARM processors. Windows Phone 10.

A month ago we proposed new licensing terms to cover code posted at Stack Overflow and across the Stack Exchange network. Making it easier to detect Stack Overflow Driven Development
CP could go to the "Need codez plz" license

Isn't that was CPOL is?
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

You are in their office using their computer, their server, their comms and they are paying you, and you think they don't have the right to monitor the content! Are people really that naive.
And yet we all know HR will trawl your social media if they want to!

It’s really starting to appear like the “technical monoculture” that so pervaded the 90’s and 00’s is finally starting to die the long-deserved ugly death it was supposed to. You're not a {blank} developer, you're a developer (or should be)

So first he says we're getting rid of the tech monoculture, which would imply I can use whatever software on whatever platform/os I want. But then he notes that the "Microsoft Shop" is an endangered species. And then notes how he can now do pretty much everything "everywhere" but "everywhere" happens to be "linux vms".
So, where just trading one perceived "monoculture" for another real "monoculture".
How did that song go: Meet the New Boss! Same as the Old Boss!

"But then he notes that the "Microsoft Shop" is an endangered species."
I just took that to mean somewhere where all the software is developed on MS-specific platforms, not that people would stop using MS platforms, just that they would happily mix and match. He's right too - many of us have been doing this for years.

Windows 7 Pro and 8.1 Pro users joined to an Active Directory domain are about to be pummeled by nagware, and the arcane blocking process is a long way from what we were promised. "They're coming to get you, Barbara!"

You know, I'm beginning to wonder -- does Microsoft know something about W7 - 8.1 that they're very afraid of and want us all to upgrade to 10? There's something fishy here.
