Hi all,
I have a Windows application developped using C#.Net with .Net 2005. I have used a datagridview in it. That datagridview is allowing its contents to be changed or its cells are editable. When a button is clicked, a cell in the gridview is selected. This is how happeneing till now.
My clients requirement is, when that button is clicked apart from the cell is being selected, cursor must also be placed on the text of the cell, for user friendlyness. Pls. help me I will be thankfull to you.
The code that I am using to select a cell in the gridview is below :
dgvLasers.EditingPanel.Visible = true;
bEdit = true;
dgvLasers.SelectionMode = DataGridViewSelectionMode.CellSelect;
dgvLasers.Rows[intIndex].Cells[1].Selected = true;

If it's urgent why are you asking on a website where people give help for free? If you need it quickly and for a client then go pay for it.

So what?? You're not paying anyone for any kind of support. Posting your question again and again and again in different forums will NOT get it answered any faster. We do this on a volunteer basis on our own time, not when YOU demand the answer.
The only thing that's that urgent, in a forum environment, is if you have to go apply anti-inflamitory ointment to your hemeroids.

Do u mean that Indian cops are corrupted, no yaar dont say to all. If I was not become a s/w engnr I would have become a Police Inspector. I wanted to be that really. I want to punish the people who really suffers innocents. Its true.

Your inability to do the jobs you accept is not our problem. Everyone who asks a question, wants an answer ASAP. That's why 'urgent' is rude, because it implies that your request for free help is more important than all the other requests, from people who want a (free) answer just as much as you do.

If it is urgent then PAY FOR SUPPORT! This is a voluntary forum. People help because they can and they enjoy it. I don't enjoy being told by some frickin' upstart that their problem is urgent and that's the reason they are being rude by cross posting their post.
Cross posting is rude and inconsiderate regardless of the reason. Many of us monitor many forums because we have expertise that crosses the boundary.

BTW - there are no old rivalries here. I'm merely asking you to respect the rules that the majority of other people live by on the forums. You've got enough exposure here to be aware of the rules. Respect them - they are there for a reason.

I've recently posted an article here about my C# SynthToolkit[^]. This toolkit is for creating "softsynths" in C# (or any .NET language).
I'm pleased with the toolkit except for one thing: The output occassionally glitches. I will be playing a synthesizer created with the toolkit and everything will be fine. But then it suddenly begins to glitch. The sound is almost like static.
The problem isn't with the synth engine. I've recorded the output to a wave file when this has happened, and the glitching doesn't show up. I believe the problem is somehow in the interaction between Managed DirectX and Windows Forms. The glitching begins somtetimes when the focus changes from one Form to another. The environment in which the synth is run is an MDI application. If I click on, say, a button on one Form when another previously had the focus, the focus changes to the new Form (goes without saying). A small percentage of the time, this causes the sound to begin glitching. It's strange because if I move a window around or click on another window, it sometimes stops and playback continues normally.
My conclusion is that changing focus somehow interferes with the performance of either the SecondaryBuffer I'm feeding wave data to or the waveform output Device responsible for playing the waveform data. When I use a Device object, I have to call its SetCooperation method, passing it a Form. I simply pass the Form in which the Device was created. So somehow in the background I'm assuming there's some kind of interaction between the Device and Form.
Any thoughts or ideas on a possible solution will be welcome.
The only thing I can think of now is hooking into the focus event of each Form in my application and doing something in response like stopping and restarting playback in hopes of clearing whatever problem is occuring.
