my code save just last row in database even i have 5 rows in datagridview
my code is like that
RS.Open("select * from purchasebill where entryno like '" & TextEntryNo.Text & "'", CN, CursorTypeEnum.adOpenKeyset, LockTypeEnum.adLockPessimistic)
If (RS.EOF And RS.BOF) Then
RS.AddNew()
MsgBox(TextEntryNo.Text & " Is Saved")
Else
If RS("EntryNo").Value = TextEntryNo.Text Then
MsgBox(TextEntryNo.Text & " User Ia Allready Exist")
CmdNew.Focus()
End If
End If
RS("EntryNo").Value = TextEntryNo.Text
RS("Entrydate").Value = MaskEntryDate.Text
RS("BillNo").Value = TextBillNo.Text
RS("billDate").Value = MaskBillDate.Text
RS("SupplierName").Value = TextSupplierName.Text
RS("Billtype").Value = ComboBillType.Text
For i As Integer = 0 To DGVRecord.RowCount - 1
RS("productname").Value = Me.DGVRecord.Rows(i).Cells("Product").Value
RS("batchno").Value = Me.DGVRecord.Rows(i).Cells("batchno").Value

This is because you have written code as such.
Here:
For i As Integer = 0 To DGVRecord.RowCount - 1
RS("productname").Value = Me.DGVRecord.Rows(i).Cells("Product").Value
RS("batchno").Value = Me.DGVRecord.Rows(i).Cells("batchno").Value
RS("expirydate").Value = Me.DGVRecord.Rows(i).Cells("Expiry").Value
Next
RS.Update()
You go in a for loop to define RS but update is outside for which makes only the last for loop executed/set value to go for an update.
Use Visual Studio DEBUGGER to see how things are happening, what is the execution workflow and you will be able to understand and resolve it.

How Can I Save and Load Tree View Items with those childrens...
Please answer me quickly if possible
and leave vb.net code for it

You don't save and load TreeView items, you save and load the objects used to create them. Take a look at some of these links[^] for some examples.

You cannot hurry people who don't work for you. It's a Sunday, only had a single cup of coffee, and I don't have a stake in the outcome. If you're short on time, then you'll need to learn to manage your time more efficiently.
You won't receive code either; I'll be happy to answer questions and help with specific examples, but we're not a charity that's in the business of providing free code.
Now that's out of the way, on to your question. You save/load a tree one node at a time, question is where you'd save them. Let's assume a database, like Sql Server. You'd have a table in there, with a field that points to it's primary key.
CREATE TABLE SomeHierarchy(
MyKey BIGINT,
MyParent BIGINT
);
Any root-items would not have a reference to a parent.
..I suggest you search for some examples, there's probably a few on CodeProject

I have seen samples for custom code editors (modified syntax highlighting, intellisense, etc.) and I have seen samples for custom visual editors (as UI for editing files when opening with visual studio).
But: How can someone build Visual Studio extensions which allow both; a split code/design as the built-in XAML editor offers?
Is that possible without creating my proprietary editor control from scratch as part of my view?
Any hints appreciated
PS: My goal would be some custom XML with an visual representation on top. Comparable to the XAML editor, but not for UI stuff.

Thanks for the hint. Have searched for such a forum, but didn't find it... seems somehow lost in the list of all forums on bottom there.

What do you mean you didn't find it? All you had to do was click the link I gave you.

I think he meant before you gave him the link.

Hey!
I've created a new on screen keyboard to use as a replacement for the default windows keyboard "TabTip.exe".
How do I make it so my new app gets called whenever someone clicks the little keyboard icon that pops up beside a text field instead of "Tabtip.exe"?
Thanks!

Still looking and still haven't found anything. Anyone have any ideas?

If they did then I would expect they would have responded to you. However, I cannot see what your question has to do with the .NET Framework; maybe you need to reword it.

hi
i want to use PasswordDeriveBytes class in compact frame 3.5 but this class is unknown !
its platform is windows Ce 5
i want to use CryptDeriveKey method to drive key for 3DES algorithm
can you help me?
|

You can't use it. It's not implemented in the .NET Compact Framework 3.5, or any other version of the .NET CF for that matter.
I don't have an alternate method for you to use.

I posted this question in "Quick Answers", no replies so far, I hope I am having more luck on here...
I've re-developed a ActiveX control in C# (basically a drop-in replacement for a age-old VB6 control). Most things work, however, I need to implement property data binding for it.
In VB6, that was an easy thing to do, thanks to the dialog here: Binding a Control to a Data Source. Simply checking the first 3 options in "Data Binding" would do the trick, and COM-aware applications could bind data to the control.
A similar problem has surfaced already, it seems, with quite a complicated workaround:
You might have to reverse engineer some of the generated code to do this. Offhand, I would create the TLB file, and then use OLEVIEW to view
the IDL.
Then, I would copy and paste the IDL into a new file, and add the
bindable attribute to the idl in the appropriate places. Once that is done,
I would run that IDL file through MIDL, and create a type library. Once you
do that, you should be able to register that type library to create your
CCW's.
It seems there is no facility in .NET to add the [bindable] attribute to a COM class.
Please, any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

Hi This is Chandrakanth,
My question is i was trying to deploy the application in to the server from Visual Studio 2010 using Web Setup, but unable to deploy the application.
I am using 3 tier architecture in my application. The web set up is copying only one bin folder in to the destination folder in the server. All files and folders are not able to copy.
Is there any thing i need to configure. Please suggest me whar are all the things i need to follow.
Thanks
Chandra
