Gawd! Looks like he did a two week course in C++ in May and then panicked...

Interesting choice of project to start with "develop your own language" - they didn't give us that on day one of the first year! (They didn't even get us to write a BASIC interpretter until year 3)

Cause I've spent the day hoovering, fixing the hoover, cleaning out the hoover so the damn thing sucks properly, cleaning the bathroom, dumping dead vermin in the river and hoovering up the remains, etc., etc.

And I've got to pick Herself up from work in an hour, then wash the car this arvo before cooking supper.

Winforms, asp,WPF, Silverlight, a little info about the UI might be useful.

i got full source code with report of e-prescription system in visual studio.

my skills with visual studio is poor and i have a deadline in 20 days..i was hoping if someone can turn the source code into a working system; everything in one folder and send it to my email.

You would need to go to www.vworker.com and hire someone to do this for you. Good luck as you will probably get what you pay for.

Printing Problem in C#

Hi I am using Crystal Report in my c# application, I have two printing options is that immediate print and preview and print. In immediate without showing the print format it directly creates hard copy. I am using the below code for achieving this

ReportClass myCrystalReport;
myCrystalReport.SetDataSource(ds);
crystalReportViewer1.ReportSource = myCrystalReport;
crystalReportViewer1.PrintReport();

My problem is that immediate print is not picking the default paper size! Its go to Letter!. But preview and print is working fine.(My paper size is A4)
And I have also try set A4 in my code

myCrystalReport.PrintOptions.PaperSize = PaperSize.PaperA4;

but I am getting same output . please help me on this issue.

Did you set A4 as the page setup when you designed the report in Crystal Reports?

If that is set correctly, try the following:

Using System.Drawing.Printing;
Using CystalDecisions.Shared;

PrintDocument prd = new PrintDocument();
myCrystalReport.PrintOptions.PrinterName = prd.PrinterSettings.PrinterName;
myCrystalReport.PrintOptions.PaperSize = Papersize.PaperA4;

If you mean that you want to run a website from your "home" PC - then it might not be a good idea: from a security POV it's certainly quite dangerous.
However, if you don't care about that too much, there are many guides on the internet as to how to do it. Here's one: http://www.boutell.com/newfaq/creating/hostmyown.html[^] but Google will find you loads of others.

You could build another datasource and assign it to the grid view.

Loop all the values in the listbox, add them to the gridview.

..of course, that might not be a very efficient solution; depends on what's loaded in the listbox. Alternatively, you could virtualize the datagridview and fetch the values directly from the listbox.

Judging by the way the question is formulated, I think you'd be interested in this[^] book.
