for password protection you can use MEDIAPASSWORD option
e.g. backup database abc to disk='c:\abc.bak' with MEDIAPASSWORD='1234'
and for you other question have to check..

I am curious how you are managing to use SQL Server without installing SQL Server?

I mean NO SQl SERVER MANAGEMENT STUDIO(FULL Version), off course, lite version will be installed to understand .mdf file

Make your mind up. Here you state it's just Management Studio you don't want to install, yet you state above that you don't want to install any Sql Server.

There is no Sql Server Lite. Sql Server needs a full database-server to operate. SQLite is a different database-format altogether.

Awad Bekhet wrote: That version which was been installed with visual studio, whats its name Sql Server Express[^]; a free version of the server-software. It's limited to 4Gb, which is still a lot. Take note that a lot of installers can install this on your behalf.

Hi, i need a solution for my datagridview to recognise html codes. It is a winform datagridview, not an asp one.
You're going to have to provide a bit more detail than that to get any kind of a useful answer. What do you mean by "recognize HTML code"??
Html tags are not being interpreted by datagridview. And tags appear in the datagridview.
Of course not, it's not an HTML control and doesn't understand HTML at all.
Frankly, you'd have to build your own HTML rendering engine to get the DGV to support HTML tags. NOT EASY!
Why do you want to do this? What's are the requirements driving this?
still now its not clear to me perfectly. Can you tell your requirement little bit more elaborately?
ok. the problem is that i have some data in my db. But they are in html format. So what control do you advise to show them in winform applications.(data depends on sql query.)
The only control that will render HTML is the WebBrowser control. You'll, of course, have to generate an HTML page with the data in it for the WebBrowser to render.
But in windows you cannot render html code. So you have to convert that code into a simple string to show the data in windows.

hi
i just thought of making a very innovative interface using csharp..I want it to have an android ICS kinda interface as well some eye candy like the pull down to turn off win mobile phone.this should turn off the comp/lappy.
i need help on how to implement this pull down to turn off..
also i want to make deleting innovativ...i have got the multiple sliding screens n created al icons on them
Look at WPF and Expression Blend.
Those kinds of interfaces work well on phones, but there's a big reason why Windows 8 is flopping, touchscreen interfaces really aren't as productive on desktops and laptops as they are on phones and tablets. Not to mention interacting with a touch-based UI with just a mouse is a giant PITA.
Take advice from somebody who's been down this road before, focus on the usability and utility of the application and the eye candy last. Almost every app that has an "innovative" user interface results in a painful disappointment for the developers.

I Have one email with 2 tables in it. My task is to convert both tables into dataTables in C sharp environment .
Could you please help me how to convert email body content tables into dataTables values.
The body of you email is going to be text/html so look into parsing a text file to extract the structure unique to your tables.
Getting at the body of the mail is dependent on your email client!
Never underestimate the power of human stupidity
