Thanks for your reply,
I already seen it. What I suppose that are payable controls...?
Or may be after some time the library will generate error for purchase. I need free control.. Is there any control developed by Microsoft for .NET..?

Hi just a quick question, I looked it up on google and all, but I remember going through a C# book (I think) and learning how to make a form where you can write it so users can enter feedback, then hit submit and it will either do like a mailto or it will get stored in the domain. etc etc. Any ideas of where a good source is, or what the code might be?

Kernel32.dll has a GetFileSize() method. BTW, why can't you use FileInfo ?

Thank you very much for your replay.
I dont know why i am not allowed to use fileinfo,because the file is downlaoded from server so we need to read its buffer size.

I have a form with textboxes first... then you can load another form that previews the database in datagridview... but for some reason the datagridview always leaves the last entered off.. it seems like the save button is not working or something.. I can not figure it out. Here is the actions taken when the save button is clicked:
this.Validate();
this.theTableBindingSource.EndEdit();
this.theTableTableAdapter.Update(this.addressesDataSet.TheTable);

Hi!
Does anybody know how to invoke internet explorer and pass a url on it using C# code?
Does anybody know also how to pass some data or information to asp url from C# code?
Thanks

Is there a reason you want to specifically use IE? System.Process.Start("your URL here"); will do the job for you, and it will respect the user's choice and use the default browser.
On the other hand, if you *have* to use IE, you can start the IE process and pass in your url as a parameter.
Cheers,
Vikram.

Hello
I have a question about implementing an interface for example ISupportInitialize. I have a derived class from a class that uses this interface. This is the code of the parent:
public class grd : DataGridView, ISupportInitialize
...
void ISupportInitialize.BeginInit()
{
...
}
void ISupportInitialize.EndInit()
{
...
}
I would like to know why it is writen like this?? why isn't it just public virtual EndEdit or public EndEdit...If anybody could tell me what the "ISupportInitialize." before EndEdit serves. Reason why I ask is because I can't use EndEdit in my derived Class because it overides parents EndEdit which I want to use too, and I can't call base.EndEdit from derived class either because it is not public and I can't stick public in front of void ISupportInitialize.EndInit only in front of void EndEdit.
Thank you in advance

I seem to have lost a link to some information of the relative performance of IL instructions - i.e. the integer primitives (add, sub) were scaled to 1, nonvirtual calls e.g. 2.4 etc.
Anyone rememebrs that?

hi
did you use the Rtf Property of the richtextbox for the e-mail body?

Check the following:
1. Does the recipient enable RTF emails?
2. Does your SMTP server filter RTF emails?
3. Are you sending the rich text from the RichTextBox, or just the text?
My guess is that you are using the RichTextBox.Text property instead of the RtfText property.
4. Is the mime type of the email properly set? Let me know if any of these suggestions help. If not, post some sample code so we can help some more.

hi, thanx for reply
you are right i used the Text property. Bud how to use rtf??? wen i say:
message.body= richtextbox.rtf , it's not working. can u tell me how to use rtf??? thank u

What isn't working about it? Are you getting the rtf output on the other end, just as plain text? My guess is that your recipient e-mail client doesn't support (most don't) rtf emails. You will need to convert the rtf into html. I searched google and came up with this[^] list of (mostly) free tools to convert from rtf to html. Then you set the message.IsBodyHtml property to "true". Alternatively, you could just add an rtf attachment to the message. Good luck,
