Hello,
As per your help, i have make router configurations for port forwarding. It works fine, I connect to server. But from the server side i cant able to send maesssages to clients. Is there any configuration is needed for outgoing messages?
Please help me for that.
Thank you in advance.

You'll have to check if the router/firewall allows outgoing messages. (normally it should)
Can the server connect to the client?
Its possible that the clients router/firewall blocks these or that you have to do the same configuration changes as you did with the servers router.
If the client is directly connected to the internet check the pc's firewall settings. (maybe disable it for a moment and check if it works then)

Thank you,
I will check my server n client both sides router checking again if some is missing.
May be now it will work.
Thank you.

I do not know where to download the icons, however, you can use some tools to achieve the icons, such as Photoshop.

In Visual Studio 2008...
Right click your project in solution explorer
choose add/new item - select cursor file
edit the cursor the way you want it - also set its hot spot
right click on the cursor file in solution explorer
choose properties and set build action to embedded resource
To load your cursor, assuming you're using forms
this.Cursor = new Cursor(GetType(), "Cursor1.cur");
where "this" is a Form/Control class.

Ohhh (s)he needs the cursors.
I don't know why I assume people want to do their own development...
Never mind then.
p.s. In my defense, maybe I answered what was going to be his/her next question

Apparently I didn't answer your question.
You can also probably extract cursors right out of an app's EXE or DLL(s).
I'll leave the copyright infringement issues to you...
Visual studio comes with a bunch of ready-to-use cursors as well.

I am generating key based on cpu id using following code
public static string GetProcessorID()
{
string sProcessorID = "";
string sQuery = "SELECT ProcessorId FROM Win32_Processor";
ManagementObjectSearcher oManagementObjectSearcher = new ManagementObjectSearcher(sQuery );
ManagementObjectCollection oCollection = oManagementObjectSearcher.Get();
foreach(ManagementObject oManagementObject in oCollection )
{
sProcessorID = (string)oManagementObject["ProcessorId"];
}
return (sProcessorID);
}
But i find that the generated id is not unique.
is there any other way to generate unique id based on cpu?
as i want to secure my software from piracy
thanks in advance

Have you had a look at GUID's..? They are unique (some even use them as database primary keys )
To generate one :
Guid guid = new Guid();
guid = Guid.NewGuid();
string unique = guid.ToString();

If you need a unique number that is always the same when regenerated, you can always ask a hashcode on a unique string, as long as you manage to create the same string. Here is a modified version of the previous answer to illustrate the idea:
Guid guid = new Guid();
guid = Guid.NewGuid();
string unique = guid.ToString();
int uniqueInt = unique.GetHashCode();

GUID represents a globally unique identifier. So do not worry.

Every time it generate a new id. i don't want this
i want a unique id for a particular pc
so that it don't match with the id of other computer

I see, in this case, you can use the MAC address as the unique ID for PC. Of cource, you can also generate the license file through MD5. Everytime the app runs, check the license file firstly.

This[^] article does something similar to what you need. Might help.
The word "politics" describes the process so well: "Poli" in Latin meaning "many" and "tics" meaning "bloodsucking creatures."

How to set the scrollbar of Multiline textbox to the bottom.
eg:
Like chat window, the scrollbar always set to the bottom or the view of the text always to the last entered line.

Hi,
make sure the caret is at the end of the TextBox, then call TextBox.ScrollToCaret()

Why donot you try RichTextbox? It is quite simple to implement this function.
Code as below:
this.richTextBox1.HideSelection = false;
this.richTextBox1.AppendText("asdf" + Environment.NewLine);

you can force multiline textbox to select and display the last line.
actually, it is similar to realize this function with either multiline textbox and richtextbox

I'm trying to save some data about controls at runtime and am having a hard time getting the Namespace that the control lives in.
If I'm looking at a form I can just use frm.GetType().FullName and I get back Namespace.FormName.
If I'm looking at a User Control calling ctrl.GetType().FullName only returns the name of the control class. How can I retrieve the missing Namespace data?

Is it possible? The FullName property will contains the namespace info. Can you paste some relevant code?

This problem may have been a random bug. Once the machine was rebooted the namespaces began appearing. Weird.
