Hi,

I have a position within a listCtrlView

POSITION pos = listCtrl.GetFirstSelectedItemPosition();

and want to select thr row 'pos - 1'. Is there any command to do this?

I think the CListCtrl::GetNextItem() is more easy to use than the GetFirstSelectedItemPosition function. Cause it reurns the index of item

you can use CListCtrl::SetItemState() to make the previous item selected.

Go Through SetItemState and SetSelectionMark API's of the ListCtrl.

Tried the following:

POSITION pos = listCtrl.GetFirstSelectedItemPosition();
int z = listCtrl.GetNextSelectedItem(pos);
.....
listCtrl.SetSelectionMark(z-1);

but the selected line remains, where it is??

Use listCtrl.SetItemState(z-1, LVIS_SELECTED, LVIS_SELECTED); instead.

Thanks very much. Works fine, but last question:

listCtrl.SetItemState(zeile, ???, ???);

What's ??? if I want the original selected line not to be focused any more?

Use 0 for the second argument.

For z = 0, here -1 will be passed to SetSelectionMark. Have you considered that ?

Hello guys,

I am been working on developing a plugin for Adobe Director, Speech recognition.
I am been getting Stuck in a macro USES_CONVERSION.
It is unable to execute the statements following this macro.

Can anybody provide help exactly how to debug this particular error

USES_CONVERSION is a macro that allows to use BSTR string conversion functions like OLE2T and T2OLE, at least thats why I used it, but never gave me any problem...

Is defined in atlconv.h

Before you use any of the A2W, W2A... macros, you must first define USES_CONVERSION. That macro is not a function itself, but defining it allows you to use the conversion macros.
