I took that as given; sorry, perhaps I should have been more explicit. To rebuild with the pre-preprocessed file replacing the original file is the whole point.

Just had a thought since my problem is in the included file what say I use the /FI compile option and ForceIncludedFiles Am i way off base with this or is the ForceIncludedFiles for C++ methods while basically the code a I debugging is in C

Hello everybody,
I'm writing a GINA replacement (more like a stub ATM) and I was wondering if there was any way I could run a process as SYSTEM without registering it as a service e.g. starting "notepad.exe" at user logon but as SYSTEM.
Please feel free to drop any hints

Hi all, I'm looking for a third-party Outlook-style calendar component that can be built into our product. It needs to be in C++ but I'm not looking for any .Net components and better not MFC, because that will increase the cost of the integration. I was just looking at a product called 'Xtreme Calendar pro' and it looks quite nice just that it's for MFC. Anyone got any other ideas? Thanks.

viksoe has a WTL Outlook bar implementation; WTL is very light weight, so it would fit nicely with your requirements.

Dear Author,
I appreciate all the efforts you took to get this site up and running but i dont like the way you have developed the forum section.
when anyone who replies to any post, then that post should come up on the top whereas new messages keep on adding and the old message goes back to 3-4 pages and most of us dont even care to look more then 2-3 pages back.
For instance look at this forum site,

How beautifully they have managed it without making it a mess, whereas this site forum just looks a big mess.
Please take steps to change the design of this forum as we all need this great forum but would appreciate its proper use.

No this is a good site but messy...DO YOU UNDERSTAND ENGLISH..and i cant be asked to look for new forums and then again spending time in becoming member, entering different ids 10-15 times and then going back to mail id and enabling the forum and all the pains.....i am too busy for that..well do you think its nicely developed....or u just replying to get into action...
Dont waste time m8s....do some good work and let the Author of the site reply to this...or you go and post it to correct place

What forum enabling ? All the forums are accessible by default to all registered users; and why would you need to re-register yourself more than once ?

i know dt better....i am already registered to 38 forums site and actively partcipating in all topics and each forum is for each subject ....i cant register to another forum for one subject....
it makes my management messy.

Yeh life is pretty gud.
it hardly takes 2hrs in a day to visit each forum and keep myself update.
..this forum cant improve so let it be like this....as you all are now use to it. Anyway soon ill come up with my own C++ forum site and ill show you all the difference.

This is a ideology issue, there is no good or bad way.
Me think that for a forum with a large number of posts, having the traditional "bump-to-the-top" type of forum will cause more problem than less, people tend to abuse the system and spend all their time bumping their topics for nothing.

No its nothing like that. Well where as the forum site would be greatly utilized. Well you urself tell me if how many pages do you check out 2-3 or you go til 10-20 pages back to look for the last replied post.
Well according to me, it should be bump to the top. Well even other forum sites are using this approach with no hastles...

Well, according to the "Authors" it should not, so what will it be ? whether it's good or not, it's not my decision, nor yours, but only the Author's; this is a free site, offered freely to everyone; the least you can do is "appreciate" the design decision (you are also free to not agree with the decision).
BTW, this topic comes around at least once a year.

The "bumping" system works great for forums with large number of posts. In fact, I would not call the Code Project forum very large. I would say it works better for forums with more posts because otherwise any thread gets quickly buried no matter how popular they are.
