Yeah. GMail doesn't support ESMTP.

How did you set the "From Email Address"?

You need to feed the file through a PHP script. At the end of the script you can update the database. Take a look at the readfile function.

How can check the last number for rounding in forms of 10 like decimal rounding system if last number is >= .50 then calculated as 1 or <.50 calculated as 0
11.50=12
11.40=11
so i wants to chek last number <=1154 then 1150

I have the following code:
$_SESSION['LoggedIn'] = true;
$_SESSION['User'] = $_POST['txtUserID'];
This doesn't work, and when I go to read the session[user] value it comes up as not set (ie isSet() fails and there is no value stored.
$_SESSION['LoggedIn'] = true;
$_SESSION['User'] = 'mi407';
Doing this works and isSet will pass and mi407 is in the vairable.
When doing the following code, the value from post will be echoed but it will still not end up in the session
$test = $_POST['txtUserID'];
echo "$test";
$_SESSION['LoggedIn'] = true;
$_SESSION['User'] = $test;
Anyone know how I can copy the data from the POST array into the session array?
I presume when it's assiging it's simply putting a reference in there and not the data, which is causing the odd behavoir.

You might want to ask in a PHP forum.

Not a solution.

Nothing to do with references, although I don't know why the second code works. You need to start the session first:
session_start ();
|
|
|
|
|
I would do this:
<?php
if (isset($_POST['textUserID']))
{
$_SESSION['User'] = $_POST['textUserID'];
}
else
{
$_SESSION['User'] = '';
}
?>
Someone else mentioned to have the following at the top of the file:
<?php
session_start();
?>

Here is the full code:
<br />
<?php <br mode="hold" /?> include 'DatabaseConnection.php';<br />
<br />
$p = $_POST['txtUserID'];<br />
<br />
echo "<h1>Post = $p </h1>";<br />
<br />
if( CheckLogIn($_POST['txtUserID'], $_POST['txtPassword']) ){<br />
<br />
$_SESSION['LoggedIn'] = true;<br />
<br />
if (isset($_POST['txtUserID']))<br />
{<br />
echo "<h1>Post Set</h1>";<br />
$_SESSION['User'] = $_POST['txtUserID'];<br />
<br />
}<br />
else<br />
{<br />
echo "<h1>Post Not Set</h1>";<br />
$_SESSION['User'] = '';<br />
}<br />
<br />
which returns:
Post = mi407
Post Set
Session is mi407
Hence according to this the session is stored fine;
On another page this code:
$u = $_SESSION['User'];<br />
if(isset($_SESSION['User'])){<br />
echo "<h1>Session is Set</h1>";<br />
echo "<h1> $u </h1>"; <br />
} else {<br />
echo "Bugger!";<br />
}<br />
returns: Session is set.
ie it's set but the data has disappeared.
On both occassions there is:
<?php session_start(); ??>
at the top of the page before the opening HTML and DocType Tags

In my system C:\Documents and Settings\Emp\Application Data\Microsoft\VisualStudio\8.0\ReflectedSchemas is taking around 3 GB space . What is the purpose of the files in this folder? Can I remove some of them?

Not sure, but I wouldn't remove them until sure what they are for.

Actually, widget is just DIV and CSS/images. so, If you have good understanding about HTML and CSS, you can create it...

What the most of site do is that they just give the DIV with inline CSS to the user.. and they shows those div and css in textarea so that other people can copy it easily...

Hi,
I have a ASP form that sends an email. My code looks like that :
Set objMail = CreateObject("CDONTS.Newmail") <br />
objMail.To = "jo@jo.net" <br />
objMail.From = "jo@jo.net" <br />
objMail.Subject = "jo.com order" <br />
objMail.Body = string1 + vbCrLf + string2 + vbCrLf + ... <br />
objMail.Send
The code works fine, the email is delivered and all that. The problem is that sometimes, one of the strings in the email body is a bit long, and when it's long, extra vbCrLf are added where I don't want them.
For example, if string1 was "this string is starting to be a bit long", the email would look like this
this string is starting<br />
to be a bit long
when I view it in my email client (after it's been delivered)
So my question is : is there a line length limit when using CDONTS? What is it? Is there a way I can make sure that no line feed / carriage return characters are inserted in my message where I don't want them, no mather how long one string is?
I am using Outlook 2007 as a mail client if that makes a difference.
Thanks for any help on this!

I am in the process of creating a desktop-style website. I have an image map which has hotspots for all the different icons on my website. When an icon is clicked a div should popup.
Below is my div code from the css:
#about {
border: 1px solid #ccc;
height: 120px;
width: 400px;
overflow: auto;
margin: 1em 0;
}
Here is my image map code:
<img src="map/map.png" alt="Desktop Image map" border="0" usemap="#desktop" />
<map name="desktop" id="desktop"><area shape="rect" coords="20,78,87,152" href="#" alt="Home Icon" />
<area shape="rect" coords="123,77,177,153" href="#" alt="About Icons" />
<area shape="rect" coords="220,81,271,157" href="#">onclick="" target="_self" alt="Work Icon" />
</area></map>
What do I need to put in the onClick section for the about div to pop up on top of the image map, not above or below!
Thanks in advance
Adam

I'm not sure if the CodeProject parser has mangled your HTML, but there are several syntax errors that will cause you a lot of problems. The first is that your map element is self terminated, but you have another terminating element at the very end (
I don't see anything in this code that would indicate a popup div. Instead you have a popup window, as specified by the target="_self". Full details on popup windows can be found here, while popup divs are.
Finally, nothing to do with your question, but I'd personally reconsider having an image map for your website when a simple text menu would be much better, easier, and more accessible. Sites that emulate desktops always tend to feel awkward.

I have used ASP.New Ajax Extension in my web project,
In a login section that uses ajax for first time with click on login button, this message Box appears:

What is this?
