I got a web application that is using another DLL through DllImport , but whenever I try to deploy a new version , it seems that I’ve to reset the IIS, even some times I’ve to restart the machine, as that DLL is using Access file, when I need to try to delete that access file , I’ve to restart the machine,

Hi,
I would like to, using javascript, pass a request consisting of the url and some params to an aspx page. (on page load i can use request.rawurl to get the full string and process params after the "?" marks.)
eg "XYZform.aspx?boats?sail?multihull"

Hi,
I would like to pass an integer to a javascript function. How do I do that for the function definition header and the called function?
And, are there functions in jscript which gives mouse coordinates Relative to the control? e.g the top left coordinates of a listbox is (0,0) instead of its position on the screen.
Currently, I use window.event.x and window.event.y to find the coordinates.

I am building a website, i have design a very neat home page in photoshop..i am trying to use the picture as my pack ground...as in
<body background= image.jpg>.. what i need to know what property should i use to stop the picture from displaying more than once..its like it trying to fill the entire page in tiles..how do i center the body back ground image.. if anyone knows how to get that done..please let me know..

I have got the answer to this problem
by using a stlye sheet i was able to control the body image..
the coding that follows can be place in the head section..

Hi Guys,
Well I'm totally stumped. I've got a bit of vbscript code that tries to find a particular process running on a machine (Windows NT). If the process exists I want the text ("I am running...") displayed. If it doesn't exist then I want the text ("I am not running") displayed.
Just some background on the OS. Its Win NT 4 service pack 6 and i reinstalled WMI Core 1.5
On win xp, win 2k and win 2k3 the script below works fine. However on windows nt where this will reside on it fails giving me an error 80041001 which I belive is a "Call failed" error.
Can anyone shed some light on why this would be happening on NT in particular? Thanks in advance

hello,
im using php (and a mysql database) to create a chat room. ive seen other shout boxes that autorefresh the content after you add text. they dont refresh the page, just the content in the shout box. do these shoutboxes use iframes? i tried iframes and html's meta refresh tag (also tried javascript's document replace), but when the iframe was refreshed, the page scrolled to the top. i dont want it to be scrolled to the top. am i going about this the right way? how can i stop the page from scrolling up when the iframe is refreshed? or should i use a different way to output the text? any pointers would be appreciated.

I am creating a page with two tables on it. The tables draw properly but for some reason, there is a blank copy of the table at the top of the page.
Example
Page Start

Row 2....

END OF PAGE
For some weird reason, changing the border in the <table> tag only changes the border at the top of the page, not in the main table.

Your HTML code is probably broken in some way, and the browser does the best it can to display it anyway. If you for an example put something inside a table that isn't inside a cell, it will be displayed outside of the table.
