Hi,
really really hoping one of you can help with this , by helping me with my
code I want to return values to my GridView's templated column which contains a dropdownlist.
I am trying to present a list of questions in a gridview each of which can have different Answer types.
For example some questions can be answered with Yes and No and some can answered with be Yes, No, Not applicable, Exceeds.
To handle this I have 3 tables..
tblQuestion (QuestionID, QuestionText)
tblAnswer (AnswerID,Answertext)
tblAllowedAnswer (QuestionID,AnswerID)
I have a grid view that returns the values from tblQuestion(select * from tblquestion)
I added a templated field to the Gridview which contaisn a dropdown list , I now want to bind this dropdownlist to the allowable answers for each question ID (the QuestionID from that row of the GridView)
i think i need an event handler for RowDataBound as suggested by Azamsharp in his articles on GridViewGuy.com but I don't know how to write the event handler
Any idea of the code I would need to add to GridView1_RowDataBound to return the relevant values from tblAllowedAnswer to the templated fields dropdownlist
Attached is the aspx page source, Any ideas are very much appreciated.

We have a web "app" that uses several assmblies. We can get the version of each assmbly, but where does one get the version for the app itself?
Wehn we try to use Assembly.GetExecutingAssembly().GetName().Version.ToString(), it comes back with "0.0.0.0".

I came up with a workaround.

Hi there,
If you want to do this with ASP.NET, you might want to check out some Starter Kits (Ready Made Sites)[^], and you can find lots of videos, tutorials from the site, and when you get stuck with it you can come back to CP, at the ASP.NET[^]

Hi all,
I'm working on a website that's hosted to an online server.
Yesterday the site crashed
It returned an error message saying that the "Virtual application pool within the IIS crashed"
So what's the cause of this error?
Is it a server error or something wrong in the application??
Thanks a lot in advance

I've done a project "Sales force automation".
Still I want to make deep study of whole CRM.
Is there any set of standards to prepare the CRM projects.

am stuck with this new assignment i have and i need serious help. i need to find the best three optimal algorithms for the n queens problem and their subsequent solutions. am in dire need

Your description of the assignment is too vague to give any useful feedback on. What criteria should be used to determine what the "best" algorithms are? What should they be optimized for? Speed? Size? Stability? Flexibility? Maintainability? Resource usage? Scalability?

If I have a Windows application that retrieves data using Web Services and I want the data to be secure can I access that Web Service in a Secure Socket using HttpS:// to provice data encryption?
Example: Https://www.webservice.com/service.asmx
It is my understanding that my Client the Windows app is accessing this in a Secure Socket therefore it is protected. Is that correct?
Thanks

Well It depends on 2 things. Are you using a browser to access the file? or is it internally acessed through an application?
If through a browser then obviously it is encrypted.
If your app gets the file and you arenot using the browser object then by default No it won't be encrypted.
If you use the .Net browser object to collect the data then i think it will be fine as this object simply calls IE to do the work.

Have you tried Rebooting it?

thanks For the response this is the code in my Windows application.
WsProxy.FuturesXiServices proxy = new WsProxy.FuturesXiServices();<br />
proxy.Url = this._url;<br />
<br />
WsProxy.AuditLogin[] items = proxy.AuditLoginProvider_GetAll(start, pageLength, out count);<br />
<br />
return Convert(items);
So what you are saying is that this is not protected with encryption if the URL is https://...

Hi, using ASP/VBScript:
Does anyone know how to create a set of variables from members of an array?
Here's what I've tried, but I get a "Type Mismatch"
<%
prodArray = split(prodList, ";;")
for z =lbound(prodArray) to ubound(prodArray)
mystatement = "myprodID" & prodArray(z) = prodArray(z)
Execute mystatement
next
%>
Thanks!
