Hi all,
I've got an idea for a new software project, and I'd like to know if this is something anyone might be interested in. To be clear, I'm not trying to sell or promote my project here.
The project is a mobile app for android or ios that can be used to control visual studio, as well as displau things like output and ddbug messagss. While I'm building this to work with tablets or phones, it's meant to be used with tablets.
There would also be buttons to clean, build, and debug. The idea is to use a mobike device to reduce or eliminate the need for so many windows in visual studio.
The mobile app will communicate with visual studio via an extension I create for visual studio. The extensikn woukd communicate with the mobile app over http or https. Something like socket-io would be the protocol. Ideally, the extension will be availaboe for visual studio and vscode.
Personally, I would really like something like this, and I think other people mighf as well. But I dont want to put a ton of time into a project that no one wants.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

In my builds that is typically hundreds of lines for the first at least. So I doubt a cell/mobile would work at all.

I wouldn't. But I don't really use my phone for much of anything so I am not a good judge of that.
However, since you do want it then build it. At a minimum it gives you experience with extensions.
I am not sure if you can add it to the MS Marketplace without paying. But you can make a public git repo and see if there is any interest in it like that. Extensions can be installed without the Marketplace.
Don't forget the documentation.

As far as screen size, I'm thinking more like an ipad or android tablet, though you could do it on a phone as well. My inspiration is a program called "Duet", that lets me turn my ipad into a second screen. I put some of the windows on it, but the scaling was horrible.
I'm thinking people may have old ipads or android tablets, and this might be a good way to make them useful again. It shouldn't a powerful tablet to work, since it's just hitting some endpoints and displaying data.
Thanks for your input. I'll update the post to be clearer that I mean tablet sized devices.

Wish to have Steel sell App and Web for selling many types of raw steel in India.
Need guidance.

And?
What have you tried?
Where are you stuck?
What help do you need?

My spiced-ham sense is tingling. I suspect we'll see someone with a commercial offering replying to this thread soon.

I have tried nothing
I need someone to guide and brainstorm to decide how to make it

No, what you need is the services of a consultant to analyse your business requirements. This question is impossible to answer in a technical forum.
|
|
|
|
|
But technical forum is the best place to get the best guidance as Best people are here, chances of getting wrong will be less
|
|
|
|

Well it would be if you had a technical question. But all you have is a vague idea that you want to trade in steel. And that is a business question which, as I already explained, requires a business consultant.

We are dealing in steel and want to make app and web for selling the same

Yes, we understand that. But no matter how many times you repeat it, it will not change the answer.

So what you are actually saying is "I've done nothing, and I'm not going to. Do it for me and ... well, you'll get nothing, but I'll gain."
Is that about right?

No "
you'll get nothing" is wrong.
We can discuss on that

No, we can't: this is not a "coder for hire" site.
If you want someone to write your code, you have to pay - I suggest you go to Freelancer.com and ask there.
But be aware: you get what you pay for. Pay peanuts, get monkeys.
