You seem hopelessly lost. You should ask in the article, or at least, in the right forum. You cannot write a keyboard or mouse hook for ASP.NET

The C# forum seems a reasonable guess then.

I can able to store & retrive images from sql DB. I can get filename with extension using File Upload Controls. But i can't able to get file name with extension when video file path is given as input to FileUpload. How i can get video file path using FileUpload?
|
|
|
|
|
um.... the filename passed to a FileUpload control, has the extension, it just doesn't have the path.

Why do you need the path ? Just use SaveAs() method to upload the file on server.

I have to store filename & extensions only into sql DB. Not the full videos.

You're making zero sense. You are GIVEN the filename, including the extension, from the upload control. So, what is the issue ?

I guess you are looking for this
FileInfo fi = new FileInfo("pathOfFileName");<br />
string filename = fi.Name ;

Well, System.IO.Path.GetFilename will do that.

i working in asp.net and C#.net. i am comparing the values of two labels if they are not equal then start countdown. but it should be for five minutes only. mean when time start then 4:59(mm:ss) then decrease and when time become 0:00 then it will once again become 4:59 and again repeat the whole process if the the label values are not equal.

You can't do this with ASP.NET or with C#. You need to do it in javascript. You should perhaps read a basic ASP.NET book, to understand how the whole process works. ASP.NET generates pages which are then served and run in the browser.

you dont have to upload the video to sql just insert the name of the video in the column and store the video in some folder(like Video)and fetching it...
code for fetching:
'<# "Video\\" + DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem,"videoname")>'

If you must do it this way, you need to write a HTTP handler to serve the videos, and a page to request them, which would take a query string parameter to define what video to send.

If you are using SQL, Then use the BLOB (binary object) in a table, but keep in mind that your db will grow very large.
Also, you cannot play the file directly from DB, you need to save the DB object to disk.
