It happens when you mix 32bit and 64bit web farms.
The reason is that the page requests a javascript using the hashcode present in the page which is generated using GetHashCode the value of which is different in 32 and 64bit machines.
The hashcode 865923e8 might be generated from one server and the request of the combined javascript might be placed on another server.
Hope you got the issue.

ASP.Net has to do nothing with this.
You will have to think of executing a process/script, which will basically run a SQL query on the database and change the status of the demands which have been older than 72 hours in the system.

Did you read my reply? I already told you a way to do this.
If you are expecting the code, than excuse me as I have no idea of your database structure.

Create a Windows service on the server which polls every second and checks whether there are any request being made which is more than 72 hours old.
If so, then cancel the Entry.
Running simple query will do the trick. From your website, you remove the entry based on its status.

Do you think it is wise to poll every second for such a simple task?
I would rather poll every hour or may be more. This will keep my database up to dated.
And for the diaply in website, I would put a filter in the code behind for the submission date is older than 72 hours. This way I am also handling the data which has not been takled since the last poll was done by the windows service.
Does this make sense?

Have a look at InstalledFontCollection [^]class to retrieve the list of installed fonts.

Did you search for it? There are already many examples of it on CP for it.

What have you tried ? Do you know anything about what you're doing at all ? This is beyond trivial, I am sorry. Are you defining your own columns for the gridview, or are you just letting it autogenerate ? If you define your own columns, it's immediately apparent how to define one as a link.

Are you using a Template column?Use Eval/Bind to Bind to the required column.
|
|
|

You can set the autogeneratecolumns=false in gridview properties and then use template column to bind your columns
need any clarification post me a message

Hii,
I am looking for a technique or method which would quickly authenticate my users login information and redirect it to its home page.
I have observed gmail which is very quick in authenticating login information of any user.
I am using MySQL database.
I don't want to use asp.net login control.
Looking forward for the answer.

While it's good to not use the ASP.,NET control, gmail is far from quick. It just uses AJAX to provide an immediate 'response' and then show a progress bar as it actually loads. Nothing is going to be much quicker than the ASP.NET control, although you can use AJAX to show some sort of progress bar, as gmail does.

Firefox does not support ActiveX. My recollection, when I rolled my own AJAX code, was that you had to write code to detect the browser, so you knew what methods to call.
This is a web dev question, not an ASP.NET one.

Hi
I have page, which consists of a master page and of course content pages. My master page has a sticky header, footer and navigation bar, which sits on the left. To scroll the content pages, the div tag on the master page uses a css attribute of overflow-x:scroll.
However, I have noticed that on some of pages the bottom of my scroll bar, the down arrow, is hidden or missing under my footer, making it impossible to see the bottom of the page, and also my navigation bar on the left moves out of position by going up the page when the mouse rolls over it. This does not happen other pages, where the entire scroll bar is visible and navigation bar stays where it should be.
I am not sure whether this is anything to do with some of div tags not having the correct size, or whether something else is going on.
Can someone please advise me on this?
Thanks

Hey,
For having fixed header and footers, I always suggest u to hide the document scroll bar, rather just place a div where the content will come and the div will have a scrollbar.
Means no scollbar will be shown to the body, rather the scrollbar will be shown only to the content of the fixed height div.
I know you can make the entire body to scroll, just in that case you need to take the 16px fix for IE as IE renders scrollbar outside the div, while all other browsers renders it inside.
Just check the user agent and do the alteration using javascript.

Hi All,
I have a gridview, contains itemtemplate and fooetertemplate.
very first time when the page loads then it should show first is in editablemode, this can be achieved using footertemplate.
The problem is lets say now my grid is having 2 rows now i am in 3rd row, i filled the fieds for third row and then i pressed save button.
Now i need to populate all the three rows. but grid already contains first two rows. only thing when i press save it will save information about the third row and then it should bind with existing rows.
in rowcommand i am getting third row column values and able to store in DB.
I think understood about the problem.
Anybody knows the solution for this please let me know.
