I agree with Mark, more information is needed. What are you trying to achieve with grouping buttons?
Are you just trying to group for looks or are you trying to achieve some sort of functionality with the grouping?

Create a DIV and place them in there using CSS, that way you can manipulate as you see fit, and have it repeatable on many pages.

Thanks in Advance

Try clearing the session while logging out.

What code have you written during Log out. Try Session.Abandon() during logout. and in page load, you need to check the session value for null or not.
If you are using Browser back / forward button to navigate you have to clear the cache from there.
|
|
|
|
|
Use Session.Abandon() method to clear session.
write below code on your logout button's click method :
Session.Abandon();<br />
Response.Redirect("default.aspx",false);<br />
|
|
|
|
|
Session.Abandon();
Response.Redirect("Default.Aspx");
This can workj for you.

|

|
use Session.Abandon();

3. Keep the subject line brief, but descriptive. eg "File Serialization problem"
PDF is not an appropriate subject line

Ok I have Googled to death and found a lot of this type error but no solutions that work.
An error occurred during local report processing.
The report definition for report 'C:\inetpub\PriceTags\PrintAll.rdlc' has not been specified
Could not find file 'C:\inetpub\PriceTags\PrintAll.rdlc'
My app was working fine until I moved to the live webserver and live sql server. Now the report 'C:\inetpub\PriceTags\PrintAll.rdlc' is 100% for sure sitting exactly where it says it isn't..
everything else on my app is working fine on live except for this report. For the life of me I cant figure out why its telling me it cant find the file when I can see the file sitting right there on the web server with the other files. (I have 100% access to the web server as it is hosted inhouse.)
any ideas where to go from here?
VS 2010 Ultimate
ASP.net 4.0
SQL server 2008R2
webserver is on windows server 2008R2
the report is an embedded rdlc file using the basic VS stuff. not crystal reports.
The error is in reportviewer when I try to view it using a browser bouncing off the webserver. Running localhost out of VS it works perfectly fine.
edit:
the above error is when using the browser on the web server
the below error is when using a remote browser NOT on the webserver
An error has occurred during report processing.
The type specified in the TypeName property of ObjectDataSource 'ObjectDataSource1' could not be found.
EDIT:
Not sure why or what the problem was. But when I rebuilt the reports(identical to the old one) after changing my connection strings to the live database. it worked fine.
so old report ran fine on localhost, changed connections and my dataset to live db(exact copy of my local one) everything worked fine but the reports. deleted them and rebuilt exactly as old.. and they work...

I know there are articles probably on this but for some reason I'm coming up blank on google and CP. Either my question formating skills are lacking today or the ether dont like me.
I need to export a report in my asp.net app by clicking a button. I do not want to show the reportviewer just bring up the "save as" you would get if you exported from reportviewer. Does somebody have a handy link to article or tutorial on this? Yeah I wont duck when you throw something at me either, as I said I'm having a brain fart Monday today.
edit: not Crystal reports, just the basic MS built into asp.net
edit 2: ok found what I needed. Told ya my brain wasn't working.
better?

You can provide the windows size when you open the popop window from parent page.
Also you can open the window in maximized more. I am not sure how to delete such history!!

Hello I have 3 Check Boxes on my ASP.NET Page. and i Have 3 Text Boxes for these Check Boxes.
Task.. i want to activate the Text Boxes when each respective Check Box is click.
I am able to do it.. but the issue is.. when i Check the second Check Box the Pervious Text Box gets disabled, even though the previous CheckBox is Selected. Same is happening for the third one. When the Third CheckBox i select both the previous TextBoxes gets disabled eventhough the checkboxes are checked. How i can make them work togethor. Like if the user checks the first checkbox write some thing on the text box and then checks the second check box writes some thing on its text box, at this point checkBox (one) TextBox should stay enabled.
Thanks Help will be appreciated.
sample code .. same code is for all the check boxes.. i think since the autopost back is true when i check the second checkbox page reloads and textbox1 (for CheckBox1) gets disabled.. how to stop it ?
I am using AutoPost Back true
CheckBox Checked Event (...)
{
if(CheckBox1.Checked)
{
textbox1.enabled=true;
}

Use javascript for checkbox checking and fire that js for each event of the click event of particular checkbox. There will be lot of code available in google for checking the checkbox click.
