Good Day All
i have the Following URL
https://www.vcs.co.za/vvonline/ccpay.asp?p1=FP99&p3=Test%20ccPay[^]
use can use it to test. I want to Post it with after that you will see the page that request for Refnumber and i want to pay that ref number and post it again
and receive the last page and after the Credit card has been entered i want to receive the URL Response. This is what i have so far
WebClient svc = new WebClient();
svc.UploadStringCompleted += new UploadStringCompletedEventHandler(svc_UploadStringCompleted);
svc.UploadStringAsync(new Uri("https://www.vcs.co.za/vvonline/ccpay.asp?p1=FP99&p3=Test%20ccPay"), "Post", "AT");
void svc_UploadStringCompleted(object sender, UploadStringCompletedEventArgs e)
{
String Response = e.Result;
}
This "Response" URl gives me html of the page that is returned.
use the Async because i will be hosting this in Silvelight, i just want to grap the idea.
Thanks

use the updatePanel with UpdateMode="Conditional"
In the event source that handles the request for the updatePanel set updatePanel.Update()

Thanks Ahamad,

development/construction. No one gives asurance about it for some reason.
will keep searching maybe there could be something hidden out there.

Earlier I suppose to use this project so I did little bit RD and it was working fine. So I suggest you. But didn't got change to take feedback from other members who is already using this project. So try to figure out your self and if it fulfilling your requirement then would be good for you.
Thanks

I have created a class and if I were to put the class under the App_code folder then I don't get any error message but i put in one my own created folder then it says
Compiler Error Message: CS0246: The type or namespace name 'ClassRoomClass' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)
What could i do to put the class under my own created folder folder?
thanks

Hi,
Depending on your Visual Studio settings, when you create a new file/class in App_Code its "Build Action" is set to "Content" so you never get to see any errors in that file. To see any errors (if any!) right-click the file and select "Properties" (or Alt-Enter).
Change your "Build Action" from "Content" to "Complie".

Hi,
I want to replace the wildcard character '&'.
Actually Entering the & as a input in search criteria gives all records.
I want to replace that character so that i won't get any record for that.
I am using Oracle as database.
Thanks,
Umesh Tayade

oracle syntax replace('My&String', '&', '');
C# syntax string newString = "My&String".Replace("&","");

I have a XmlDocumentFragment whose InnerXml is =
<n1:Item xmlns:n1="http://abc.def.sg/XMLSchema/Web/Services/MyWebServiceContracts"><br />
<n1:Text>Level1A_Text</n1:Text><br />
<n1:Value>Level1A_Value</n1:Value><br />
<n1:Items><br />
<n1:Item><br />
<n1:Text>Level_2A_Text</n1:Text><br />
<n1:Value>Level_2A_Value</n1:Value><br />
<n1:Items /><br />
</n1:Item><br />
<n1:Item><br />
<n1:Text>Level2_B_Text</n1:Text><br />
<n1:Value>Level2_B_Value</n1:Value><br />
<n1:Items /><br />
</n1:Item><br />
</n1:Items><br />
</n1:Item>
How do I programmatically bind my drop down list control to this XmlDocumentFragment.InnerXml such that it goes to "Item/Items/Item/" and my ddl gets value from Value and text from Text? Thank you many in advance. ps most examples I have seen are bound @design. The programmatic ones aren't too clear.

You can say, something like:
DropDownList1.DataSource = doc.ChildNodes[0].ChildNodes;
DropDownList1.DataTextField = "InnerText";
DropDownList1.DataValueField = "InnerText";
DropDownList1.DataBind();
you ahve break up precisely at required parent.

I asked the same question about C# and the guys said C# will be around for a long time.
What about ASP.NET? will it be that popular as it's now after 5 years?
