Not a diffcult one to debug. The datasource appears to not have a column with the name the datagrid column is bound to.

The name of the Field in the Item Templates where you are not binding the data is not presnt in the database or selection list.

That's nice. Now, do you have specific question? What are you using? What have you tried? There aren't many mind readers here so you have to explain a little bit more.

So, I am using asp.net with vb.net. When they register they are creating another row in the Members database automatically.
Now when they login, I need to know how to log all the sessions from different users and put them on the page.

Create an application variable that will hold the names (and other info if necessary) of users who log in successfully, then use it to display. Of course you also need to handle logouts and abandoned sessions.

Hi
I use stored procedures for binding and editing my gridview.
I bind my Grid view with one table joining an other table:
SELECT MAD_Dictionary.*,MAD_ProductCategory_Dictionary.*
FROM MAD_Dictionary LEFT OUTER JOIN MAD_ProductCategory_Dictionary
ON MAD_Dictionary.DIC_ID = MAD_ProductCategory_Dictionary.PCD_DictionaryID
WHERE MAD_ProductCategory_Dictionary.PCD_CategoryID = @CatID
ORDER BY MAD_ProductCategory_Dictionary.PCD_Priority
But when I try to edit one Of these table with sp ,I get this error :
Ur sp has too many arguments specified
I copy sp's query and replace this code instead of sp in aspx page,and just change SelectCommandType from stored procedure to command with same query.and its work!!
I dont know why same code in sp doesnt work?
but I need use sp ,not query in my aspx page.
what can I do.
(when my binding query is not joining query,it is work)
my edit sp:
ALTER PROCEDURE [dbo].[MAAD_Dictionary_UpdatePriority]
(
@PCD_ID INT,
@PCD_Priority INT
)
AS
BEGIN
SET NOCOUNT ON;
UPDATE MAD_ProductCategory_Dictionary
SET PCD_Priority = @PCD_Priority
WHERE (PCD_ID = @PCD_ID)
END
tanx sigh:

Hi All,
I have to disable right click and backspace key of IE.Can anyone help me in doing this.
Thanks...

It's basically a waste of time. It can be done with javascript (see google), but it's so easy to circumvent, it's not worth the time implementing it.

Following is the code which I got:
Code 1:

Code2:

Code3:

Please help me...
Thanks...

To echo the previous - waste of time. What are you going to do when the user disables Javascript? More to the point, it's immensely annoying when a web developer decides I can't have control of my browser. Find another way to solve whatever problem you have.

Our Project requirement is that no one should view the source code so I need to disable right click.
Please tell me how do I go about it.
Thanks...

It's not going to happen. Disabling right click is not going to help. If you want to keep your code hidden, run it on the server. If you pass the code to the client, there will always be a way for them to get access to it. Disabling right click is a waste of time.
Or rewrite the whole thing as an ActiveX/Java client.

I have remove all the toolbars of IE and now I want that right click should be disable so that no one can get the code via right click or by going to view source.
Please help me...

Like said before, you can't hide your code. Even if you hide the toolbars and disable temporary internet files. The only thing you can accomplish is make it harder to get the code.

what you are trying to do is not possible as long as tools like fiddler are available for everyone.

Somehow I can't get my generated RSS feed to work with firefox. I have an ASP.NET page which generates an RSS feed from data parsed out of a HTML page. The feed works in IE7, but firefox only recognizes it as an XML file.
36 Response.Clear(); 37 38 Response.ContentType = "text/xml"; 39 Response.ContentEncoding = Encoding.UTF8; 40 41 Response.Write("\r\n"); 42 Response.Write("
\r\n"); 43 Response.Write("
\r\n"); 44 Response.Write("
CII Mededelingen RSS feed
\r\n"); 45 Response.Write("
Deze feed geeft alle recente mededelingen door van de academie CII
\r\n"); 46 47 foreach (Announcement announcement in parser.Announcements) 48 { 49 Response.Write("
"); 50 Response.Write("
" + announcement.Title + "
\r\n"); 51 Response.Write("
" + Server.HtmlEncode( announcement.Body) + "
\r\n"); 52 Response.Write("
\r\n"); 53 Response.Write("
\r\n"); 54 } 55 56 Response.Write("
\r\n"); 57 Response.Write("
\r\n"); 58 59 Response.End();
What am I doing wrong?

Just a shot in the dark, try type="application/rss+xml", but I think Firefox needs an extension (like Sage) to handle the rss.
|
|
|
|
|
That shot was a hit, firefox now recognizes the feed. Thanks for your help

How did you format your code so nicely?
|
|
|
|
|
I use a plugin in VS2005 called CopyAsHtml, I don't remember who made it, but I use it for quite some time now. It's a pleasure to work with as it saves me a lot of time formatting my code for the web.
