The Knowledge wrote: i m using ASP.Net window application.
I doubt that. If it's ASP.NET, it's a web application.
The Knowledge wrote: it may be either use by C# or javascript.
No, it has to be in javascript, because that's what runs on the client
The Knowledge wrote: and how i can include javascript code in C#
Do you mean how do you put javascript code into a page using C# ? Page.RegisterClientScriptBlock, or just put it straight into the ASPX.
Your best bet is to look for existing javascript/css menus that do what you're after.

Then it's not ASP.NET, so why are you in the ASP.NET forum ?

I assume you still mean ASP.NET.
I recommend you read one of these[^] google results. Then, try posting a question we can answer. We can't really help fix your code, unless you show it to us.

Could you be a bit more specific on what doesn't work?
Also be sure to check Asp.net's membership system:
http://aspnet.4guysfromrolla.com/articles/120705-1.aspx
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/yh26yfzy.aspx
Once I got it to work with my (non-sqlExpress database) it worked like a charm.

You cannot share seesion variables between ASP.NET and ASP directly. You've come up with a workaround for that.
Perhaps this[^] will be a good start.
But in your case, I'd rather suggest that you use a database to manage your sessions.

I have a table of data in the aspx web page. I am
printing it in landscape paper (11 X 8.5 inches). If
the table has more columns which cannot fit in the
page, then last few columns will not be printed. Is
there any trick or workaround to print all the columns
in IE 6? If it is not possible to fit all the columns
in one page width, then it should print the remaining
columns in another page.
plz any one help me regarding this...

HI
Guys i have an option on page from where the user can upload the files, now if the user uploads the file greater then 4 mb it throws exception of maximum request length exceeded, i don't want to make changes in web.config and machine.config, and i want to restrict the user to upload the file less then or equal to 4 mb, i have placed javascript check on it,but in some cases on which java script is disabled on client end my check cann't work, please let me know the solution of this ASAP,thankx in advance

Simply Use Try Catch block for this....
|
|
|
|

Hey Guru,
You can't Catch this, since your maximum request is limited to 4mb. The Page will crash before it reaches the server.
The one and only and right way is to change the *.config settings only.

but i don't want to change the web.config settings is there any other way

Hi. i want to create a progress bar in asp.net with c# plz help me
|
|
|
|
|
What do you want to track progress of ? Of course, any solution you create will run on the client, and therefore be written in javascript. If you want to show progress for a process on the server, you'll also need to use AJAX, so the process happens while your page is visible.
