Hi,
When i am sending mail,
then sometimes its give me error like
The requested body part was not found in this message.

I am getting body part from database. It is html.
When i am sending only ok as body, then its work.

I am not getting the reason, some times it works ,
some times its not.

Hi,
I have a datagrid with 13 columns(like event, venue etc),The column names are defined in list box. The values selected in the list box should only be saved in database table. Can any one help me how to iterate the specific columns only. Thanks in Advance. Smile | :)

Hi,
Im able to store the user details using SqlMembershipProvider and i asked SqlMembershipProvider to follow the "Encrypted" format. My code in web.config looks like this.

As of now it's working fine but im unable to get the password of the user in admin login. To get the password i have done the following code.

But it is throwing error the "Password Answer is too long and exceeded 128 characters"..

The passwordAnswer im getting from database, which was encrypted using the above code in web.config file.

It will be great if i get solution to retrive the password.

I am doing an application in which every form was working fine. And I am using Infragistics DateChooser control. The forms now when adding new records shows an error message like this..

Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerParserErrorException :the message received from server could not be parsed. Common causes for this error are when the response is modified by calls to Response.Write(), response filters, HttpModules or server trace is enabled.

i have used GridView Control. I have access the data using ms-access..
In the table i have selected paging........There are totally 2 pages are there..........when i click the 2nd page it is going to the second page but when i click the 1 st page the page is not coming back.Can anyone solve this problem ?

and now my problem!

if you load test.aspx, will show two title.

If you click over a title, will be show in async way the message body and the replies for the message (the replies are shown using an accordion).

If you click in the same title, will be close.

But, if you click in the other title when the other message body and replies are shown, then, the body and the replies for this other message will be show.

The problem is that, when the body and replies are loaded for ths message, body of the first message is show, but replies are hidden (accordion will not show)!! why?

Is possible to have a situation like that: two titles opened and the bodies and replies showned correctly and not hidden?

Looks to me like your converter is rubbish. Hard to say if this is the error, seeing as you've still not told us what the error message is.

This question also has absolutely nothing to do with ASP.NET.

Hi,

Ive been developing a system for the last month using .Net 2.0 in Visual Studio 2005. Its a web project, Ajax Enabled (Probably irrevelant) This has been debugged on the ASP.NET Development server that ships with VS2005. I am now trying to move it to a staging server running IIS, however, it simply wont work. After a lot of playing around with settings, i have narrowed it down to the fact that IIS, for some reason, cannot see DLLS that are in the web project. For example, I have two dlls, one called common.dll and one called dataaccess.dll. If i write code on a test default page, in a button event to do something like:

Button.Text = now.ToString("hh:mm:ss")

It works fine. However, when i add the line:

Dim x As new Common.ColumnItem()

It crashes out. The dlls are properly registered, and i have tried both registering the dlls directly and registering the projects which generate the dlls. (They are part of the same solution) but no luck. I can also confirm that the dlls ARE in the bin directory of the website.

If i try to just copy the website (so it compiles on first request) i get the error saying "Common.ColumnItem is not defined". If i build it as a pre-compiled site (wwhich isnt really an option for this site in the long run) i just get that "This is a placeholder..." text, when i should be seeing the page content.

Has anyone any ideas? Ive been developing asp.net for years and never encountered this before.

Ive tried it with a demo project, and it occurs as soon as an external DLL is used.

So , say i define a class called TestClass in a class library called TestLib which results in the dll TestLib.dll. I add it to the solution with a TestWebsite with a single page called Default.aspx I add a project reference (or direct to the binary, it doesnt make a difference) to the web project, then on the first line of Page_Load in Default.aspx i have the line:

Dim abc As New TestClass()

It will crash out in this, giving me the standard ASP.NET error page with the error information:

Dim abc As New TestClass() (in red)

TestClass is not defined

Do i need to add my reference to the web.config under <assemblies/> ?! I never had to do this before. I thought that was only for assemblies in the GAC
