Is it a debug build ? Have you tried rebuildng all ? Do the breakpoints look active ?

Hi,
Add a html hidden control (say hdnSession) in the aspx and set the value in the page load of the aspx file as below.
In Page_Load
hdnSession.value = Session("Sample")
Now in the javascript access the hidden variable.
Hope this will work...
Thanks and Regards,

Session is server-side object. you can't access the session value on the client-side. you can store it in the hidden field and access it on the client-side through javascript.

the mistake in javascript define function like abc(d)

I hope you have written this javascript function in your html code
function abc(var d)
{
alert(d);
return false;
}
if not plz do so and remove var from the definition of your function it will make function look like this
function abc(d)
{
alert(d);
return false;
}
now your function will work.

This stuff is a waste of time. Just set h = 2 and be done with it.
Sonia Gupta wrote: Button1.Attributes.Add("OnClick", "javascript:return abc(" + h + ");");
I think you mean onclick, it's all lower case. You could set OnClientClick in your aspx, or set that property without using the Attributes collection.

Add attributes out of condition for page postback.
int h=2;
Button1.Attributes.Add("OnClick", "javascript:return abc(" + h + ");");
if(!ispostback)
{
}

hi all,
I have a link like this
<a href="mypage.aspx" class="link" onclick ="set_values('done');">Edit/</a>
in the css class link
a.link
{
color:#999999;
font-family: Verdana, Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 11px;
font-weight: bold;
text-decoration: none;
}
a.link:visited
{
color:red;
font-family: Verdana, Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 11px;
font-weight: bold;
text-decoration: none;
}
a.link:hover
{
color:#996600;
font-family: Verdana, Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 11px;
font-weight: bold;
text-decoration: none;
}
i have written the above css. now if i execute my application, the edit text is displayed in visited link color(red) even before it is visited.
How can i differentiate between visited and unvisited links by color?
Thanks in advance.

hi,
Thanks for the reply. but by default, the visited link color (red) is only displayed.
If i dont give the css for visited, the link color is displayed.
Also in the set_values function, i am submitting the form again for some manipulation.
Hope i am clear in my explanation.
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Anuradha
