Try this code.If it doesn't helps you send me your code.
Dim str as string
For i = 0 To checkboxlist1.Items.Count - 1
If checkboxlist1.Items(i).Selected = True Then
str = checkboxlist1.Items(i).Value & "," & str
End If
Next
Then,take the substring of str and pass it to the database.

ya...this is working fine....but how can i retrieve those(text..not ids now) and place those in Datgarid

You have to get the total number of rows from the table.Use Dataset.
For example,
For i = 0 To sqlDataset.Tables(0).Rows.Count - 1
//Your Code.
Next
Then get the checkbox items that are checked.
God is always with you.

Hi,
I wrote the code for email as follows
Dim mymsg As New MailMessage
mymsg.To = txtTo.Text
mymsg.From = txtFrom.Text
mymsg.Cc = txtCC.Text
mymsg.Subject = txtSubject.Text
mymsg.Body = "Please, click the following link to open report. " & Label2.Text & " This report is sent to you from " & txtTo.Text
SmtpMail.SmtpServer = "127.0.0.1"
SmtpMail.Send(mymsg)
txtTo.Text = ""
txtFrom.Text() = ""
txtCC.Text = ""
txtSubject.Text = ""
But I got the error as..................
"The message could not be sent to the SMTP server. The transport error code was 0x800ccc15. The server response was not available"
Can any one give me solution for this??????????????
Thanks in advance

This error may occur if you did not specify a Port Number for SMTP.By default, SMTP uses Port 25.
It is also possible firewall or anti-virus program.

char.IsNumber()
Sonia Gupta wrote: date
Write a Regular expression and find out. or try to parse value into a DateTime object which will generate an error if it's not a valid date.

you can do this by
int outpar;
if(int.tryParse(txtVal.Text,out outpar))
{
}
else
{
}
float outpar1;
if(float.tryParse(txtVal.Text,out outpar1))
{
}
else
{
}
