When I add the Questech webpart to a page, the thumbnails and lightbox appear perfectly, but, only for me. I am the site collection administrator of the site and have shared the entire site with everyone in my organization. However, I remain the only person who is able to view the pictures. Everyone else sees the webpart title and nothing else. I've checked permissions and I've checked the status of the page that contains the pictures (everything is checked-in, approved, and published). What could I be missing? Please help and thank you!
I am not able to get this to deploy on my page. I can embed the web part, but cannot get this images from the library to show up. Do you have a more detailed deployment document for this web part that you can share?
If you are able to add the web part to your page, that means installation is successful. The issue is probably configuration related. Where is your picture library and what is it called? You need to edit the web part and fill out Site Url and Picture Library Name accordingly.
When I add the web part, all that shows on the page is the heading "Picture Thumbnails;" I click to edit the web part and fill out the Site URL and the Picture Library Name to correspond with the Picture Library that is contained in the same sub-site as the page I am add the web part to. URL for the picture library is https://members.osii.com/user-forum/userforumpictures_2011/Forms/USFM_pictures.aspx and the name is User Forum Pictures 2011. When I add this information into the Configuration section and click OK, just the "Picture Thumbnails" shows still. When I save the page, I get the "Sorry, something went wrong" error.
The web part references a css deployed to /_layouts/15/QuestechSystems.SharePoint.PTWebPart/STYLES/PTWebPart.css. In your browser please go to http://<your siteurl>/_layouts/15/QuestechSystems.SharePoint.PTWebPart/STYLES/PTWebPart.css and see if the css is accessible. Also on your test page where the web part is, please do a browser view source, locate the line <div class="pt"> and copy the html code under the div to a reply message for me to take a look.
