Yes because they have all been voted as spam. If you know someone with the required privileges (e.g MVP, Protector etc. e.g. @thatraja) who regularly uses that forum, you could ask them to delete the messages to clean it up.

Looks like only our admins have power to destroy "Message closed" threads.

I can do it, and as you and I are both Protectors I assumed we would have the same privileges. If they are still there tomorrow I may have a go at clearing them out - for a fee .

You right. I missed Delete button(at first) which comes only at mouse over thread. I'll clear both forums right now. Thank you

How are you doing ThatRaja? Came here after a long time and don't see the Indian Topics group. Is it discontinued?

I'm OK Ankur! Yeah, CP closed few forums(Chinese, Indian & Soapbox) last year. Unfortunately we can't have similar forum(GIT) anywhere again ever. It was good time.

Sorry for a very late reply. I was away from CP for quite long.
Yeah you are right! And I think that broke the links on your signature too.

... or at least higher in the tab order?
When you click Delete on a Closed message, and the delete confirmation appears:
The "Confirm" button is generally miles away from the mouse pointer. If it was easy to TAB to it, we could use ENTER to confirm, and then the mouse stays pretty close to the next target when there is a run of 'em.
Just trying to reduce our collective RSI on days like this...

With the recent Chinese spam attack it was very hard to work out which messages and users I had flagged as spam so I looked at he Reputation Points Earned list. This was most unhelpful as member ID's were not visible. Moreover even if I flagged a message as spam I could find no record of the vote. Some votes appeared but after some point in time nothing happened. Thereupon I gave up.

The appear only when they give reputation, that means once you get to the max clicks on a category i.e. 25 reports, the rest don't get tracked in your history).
Anyways... in this case with this attack... it is not going to help much... just click where you can, it already helps a lot.
I have just gone 6 pages of messages navigating with "CTRL + Arrow". So I could leave the mouse in the area of the red flag and report without much movements. Then the opening all the users of the page as I navigate it in other tabs (click the link with the wheel of the mouse), finish the page, and report all opened users clicking with the mouse and ctrl+f4 to close the tab. Then changing page of the forum.
Is the fastest way I could find out.

Yeah, until you get the "big messages" which mean scrolling. And I keep forgetting to release CTRL so Chrome shrinks the page size instead of scrolling.

When we get the "multiuser" attacks we got this morning, how about a "protector only" option in S&A? Three protectors hit it and everything goes directly to moderation until it's lifted?
If they don't get it visible, there is no incentive to post more, so hopefully it might bring it down to manageable levels without too much hassle, and without inconveniencing other members too badly? Plus, it feeds the actual spam directly to the detector so it should learn quicker to identify the new format rather than waiting for messages to be closed?

I presume that the two links to codeproject as plain text within the body of the message have something to say about it

How many spam reports does it currently need to flag the user?

Item: 5
User: 10
Why? Because some idiots decided that if they couldn't downvote what they didn't like, they'd close the account of the poster.

I'm trying to report every post, but I feel I might be the one spamming here. And on some posts, I see only 2 or 3 reports. That could be one of the reasons they're not moderated yet.

I just did 6 pages on the S&A clicking every one and give the last hit to a bunch of items. But still they are creating them faster than we can act. So... we need to wait for the big hammers and the "cleaning up the mess" actions from the staff
