They're vastly different, especially the question, bug and answer ones.

Nope, still exactly the same: Chrome on Windows and Safari on iPad. What are you using?

Chrome on Windows. They just reverted to the old ones for me.

I've kicked the cache. Try again. (Bug and Idea are the only current changes)

Idea looks really weird in messages list in IE (version 11.0.44).
For example if you open Latest Messages in IE, the lightbulb is roughly 4 times bigger than any other icon.
This doesn't seem to happen in Chrome

Bug looks OK. I don't see 'idea'

There are a couple of issues with the new icons:
- The new idea icon should have a pixel of white space above it - it's too tall.
- The new bug icon is monochromic and has no 3D relief, and therefore looks out of place with the other icons. It's also too wide and tall. It too needs a pixel of white space at the top border.
I'd be more than happy to tweak the new icons a tad for your review.

It would be nice to see a summary count of the number of bookmarks in each section.

I can't get to "Latest Articles" on the home page menu. If I hover over "articles", "latest articles" appears in the list, but in order to get to it I first have to pass by "Chapters and Sections" and as soon as I get to that the menu is replaced by the "Chapters and Sections" sub-menu. I'm using Chrome on Windows 10.
I would normally read the article through the links in my daily email but the last one I received was on July 4.

I tried the same (Chrome on Windows 10) and it works fine. The sub menu appears to the right of the main one so I can move the mouse down to Latest Articles.

Were you asked to fill out the Email Consent Form[^]? Even if you've already confirmed your email address, the CASL means you have to opt in again.

The entire article dropdown is replaced by the fly-out chapter and section menu?

I'm getting it on Chrome, and sometimes on Edge.
Moving the mouse down onto the menu and the menu disappears.
However, if it makes the request for the Sitemap, which is doesn't when the menu vanishes, everything works as expected.
Interestingly, if I use the scroll wheel to move the mouse to the Latest Articles, it works fine.

I've seen this before in both Firefox and Chrome (more often in Chrome than FF, though). Usually a hard refresh fixes it, so I think it's a bit of a derp with the browser's caching system.
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?
The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism.
Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

There is no procedure, it just happens automatically when you have achieved a specific reputation level. See Member Reputation System[^].

To moderate messages you have to ask a site admin to add you to the Protector group.
To moderate articles you need sufficient reputation as explained by Richard.

I do not know what's going on. Sean has, as usual, been a great help. But there are serious problems with the publishing process at Code Project.
1. In attempting to use a PNG within a recent article, I was thwarted by something I had no control over. Were it not for Sean, the PNG would never have appeared in the final published article.
2. When I viewed the published article, I found that an HTML end-tag was removed. The original HTML was
If set <span style="color: #4169E1">true</span>, the first row will be treated as ....
In the published article it appeared as (note the missing </span>):
If set <span style="color: #4169E1">true, the first row will be treated as ....
This of course caused the word "true" and all following text to appear in RoyalBlue.
3. There appears to be no way in which to colorize objects within a <pre></pre> block. In my current article this requires a significant increase in the concentration needed to understand the article. What was simple became difficult because I could not color-code some pseudo-code.
What concerns me is that these kinds of bugs are rampant. Furthermore, the paper that was finally published diverged significantly from my intent. It does not matter if I check "keep your fingers off my HTML". The changes are occurring somewhere within the Code Project publishing paradigm.
By including the Code Project stylesheets in the <head> of my documents, I thought that I could preview what I expected to see in the final Code Project article. But when it gets published, the results are different from what I saw in Firefox. This is unacceptable from an authoring standpoint. I put a lot of work into creating an article for Code Project. I appreciate the overarching philosophy to have all articles appear with the same styling. But, when I follow the "rules" and bad things happen, I must question the process involved.
It's time to fix the publishing process at Code Project! I, as usual, stand ready to help.
[Edited: turned on "Treat my content as plain text, not as HTML" to allow Gus' HTML tags to appear in the text]

And this report was edited badly by the publishing software. I did not number my paragraphs. I used static text This is the type of problem I am weary of.
