Are you sure you posted this in the correct forum?

I hunted for a way to notify Code Project of the problem. I did not find any obvious email address.
A Code Project person can notice the item here, notify folks, and delete it.
If there is a better way to notify them of a problem with their announcement, I will be happy to use it.

Notice it where exactly? Neither of your messages tell us what you are referring to.
I must get a clever new signature for 2011.

I am trying to do Code Project a minor favor. It is not working out. Feel free to delete this entire thread.
Code Project has virtual seminars. It sends announcements out and there is a registration web page. On the registration web page one can download an ics file to put the event into one's calendar. For the upcoming Code Project virtual event with a title beginning with "VS2010" the ics file has the apparent error I described.

There's no need to delete this thread. I am sure the CP staff will know what you are talking about. Heck, even I know what you are talking about, although I can't help you with it
(Neither Richard nor John work for CP, and as you might have guessed they also do not keep close tabs on virtual CP events, which is why they were both rather confused in their replies to you)

Using IE7/Vista...
When I click the Browse Code tab on the article I posted a couple of days ago, the list of files shows up briefly, and then goes away.
http://www.codeproject.com/script/Articles/ViewDownloads.aspx?aid=154159[^]
After looking at a couple of other articles, it looks like it does it on every one, so it's a pandemic problem (in IE7?).

You are using Vista, John. Do you really expect it to work?
I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.

Of course not - I just like to poke Chris, et al, in the ribs as often as I can.

I am going to buy you a real browser for Christmas.
I've disabled the resizer control (for IE7 and below only) that was causing the issues because I no longer have the patience to support such horribleness.

Using IE7/Vista...
When I hover the mouse over the Get Article's HTML, Edit Article, or Delete Article icons, the tooltip box shows up in the right place, but the up-arrow graphic shows up way off to the right of the tooltip box.
I don't recall seeing this happen in FF3.

I'm pretty sure it's just me but I can't work it out. I don't belong to any groups but my icon suggests I do. Can one of the admins show me how to fix this?

Go to your settings from drop-down box which is displayed when you hover your mouse over your user-name in upper-right corner. There is one setting called Account type. Make sure it is "Standard Member Account". That should solve your problem I guess.

Thanks Himanshu but it is currently set to "Standard Member Account" and under the My Groups tab is says that "Not a member of any groups." It seems a bit strange.

I am not talking my problem. This is the Code project Web site problem. And I am in the right forum.
I you wanna test, that code project runs on mobile or not , open your Nokia Mobile browser and try opening www.codeproject.com and sign into that. And u will notice that view state or cookie problem.
Thanks
