I vote for blinking orange text on a neon green background.

Why not White Foreground on a White Background then?

Chris makes everything happen as soon as possible, so no need to mention it. And be careful, some people shoots when they read "asap", as it is about as bad as "pleeeeezz" or "urgentttzz"
As for the red color, I was among the first to complain about it, and I can tell you that you get used to it. Plus now, my world is greener.

Scroll down a bit to where he is getting a little out of line with JSOP.
Forgive me if this didn't need to be reported.

Don't think it was that bad until that response to john... but its probably no reason to boot the guy off the site. Maybe just remove that response.

No, it is not.
I don't feel that MM should be removed from the site...just muffled a little until he sobers up.

I've emailed him and the thread has been moved to the soapbox where Michael and John can have a private word to one another if needed.
Just think of how he's going to feel tomorrow morning. His team lost and he'll have the mother of all hangovers. Self serve justice.

I chose not to respond any further, and I don't visit the soapbox all that often, so he'll be mostly talking to himself.

I do not think that Slacker is suggesting that he be booted, perhaps just that he be "suspended" for a short period so that he can sober up first.
He does sound like an angry drunk, though.
[Edit... Slacker's response wasn't there when I hit post, but at least I can say I was right for once...]
I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.

Not the point Dave at all. When you tell another member to f*** off and chop off his other hand then I think that is over the line. We listen to your drunk drivel all the time some of which has been over the line as well.
I know that John can take care of himself.

I agree with you, I was merely thinking that if John was truly upset he would have complained himself.
It was not a criticism of you or your post.

I don't complain about people beating up on me verbally. It *is* the internet, afterall.
Screw with my rep points, however, and I immediately smell blood in the water.

I get a blank page under the text "Reputation History"... IE9 here...
Apart of that after the changes made typically some pages stay as if they were being loaded (you know that small circle inside the tab of ie9 rotating without stopping). i.e. meanwhile I'm writting this I can see that circle rotating...
Seems that everything works again...
Keep up the good work...
PS: you did a mistake... the bug icon is too coool...

I posted some code with an xml comment[^] and the syntax highlighter is coloring it all as comment. If I remove the xml comment it behaves normally.

The code wasn't HTML encoded (ie you wrote < instead of <)
I'm hoping to be able to bring in the editor we use for Quick Answers into the forums. this has Luc's auto-code sniffer which will help enormously with this stuff.

Hi,
I am colorblind...
The new change from Red to Green for the text of high voted posts is bad for me, I almost don't see any difference between the green messages and the grey ones.
I know I could change the contrast/brightness of my monitor, but it's perfectly fine me for everything else.
Would it not be possible to at least have a setting for defining the color ?
Thanks,
Stephane
