Boo.
This space for rent

It's missing a space at the end.
But if you put a space at the end we trim the space.

What's odd is it used to work. I've responded with just a single smiley before.

Fixed in next deploy.

OK, I'm just going to disable that section of code until Matthew's back to fix it properly.

I've made a quick change. Please let me know if you see the issue again. If you do I'll bring out a bigger hammer.

I don't know if there is someone to fix it before new year, but it is worst then ever... Not only new comments are missing, but also old ones are gone...
-- EDIT --
It seems to be a QA-comments only problem... Solutions in QA and other forum post are showing as expected, why comments on QA are gone, even some of the m are weeks old...
Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

Comments still not render in QA, everything else works: posting comment, getting reputation, getting notification.

Still on the same case, it does contribute to reputation but does not render the comment there.

If I paste here: "If your salt and pepper wish you a Merry Christmas, is that seasons greetings?"
I get the "Paste as" pop-out to select "as is", "code block", "quoted text", ...
But if I paste the same thing into any QA answer box, I don't - I get the "default" paste only, which seems to be "the last one I used somewhere else". For example, all morning I've pasted and got a code block. Now suddenly I get "as is" instead.

Can you please try the old Ctrl+F5? The script that runs that thing was updated last night, with the update changing the location of the box slightly, and removing the preview in the lower part of the box (the preview was already happening below the question so no point in doubling up)
It's working for me in latest Chrome, FF, Safari, Opera, Edge and IE

First thing I tried. I've also updated Chrome (which forced a reload on it) and tried it on both portrait and landscape monitors.
Here I get it every time, in a QA answer I don't seem to get it at all.
Bear with me a couple of minutes, I'll shut down Windoze and restart...

OK, I'm back.
Same thing, except...I can see a bit of it in QA now: [^] - I may have missed the thin orange border last time.
I get the same result landscape or portrait - just that thin border.

Tried Ctrl-F5, but didn't worked for me.
