I just updated to Visual Studio 2015 Update 3 and noticed a small panel on the running windows when running in debug. There are 4 buttons at the top center of the window under debug and the left most one opens the Live Visual Tree window. Not sure where to look to understand how best to use this new feature.

What I have tried:

Searched for Live Visual Tree.

I tried. Live Visual Tree does not get information on this new feature. Only for the old Live Visual Tree, don't know what this new control is called, so don't know what to google. I would upload a picture, but codeproject does not support inserting pictures as far as I know.

1 solution

Go to Debug => Windows => Live Visual Tree to open Dialog. There is a tool bar button at the top left that looks like a window. It is a togglebutton that will hide or show that bar on the window under debug.

Thanks so much for this. I had figured it out already.
