I want to use directX 12 to generate a musical note. How do I add a reference for DirectX in VB.net?

What I have tried:

I don't know how to start. I have read Web pages but they all say I can't use VB with DirectX 12.

You'll need to download the DirectX SDK as well. "As well" is the same thing, en englais, as "too".

DirectX 12 was already installed.
