just-in-time (JIT) debugging problem

See more:

I create windows application in W7, its work properly but in client pc(XP) it's give error.

and another interesting is its not give error while start it's occur in specific one form load event.

Solution 1

Hi,

Possible cause of this exceptions are,

1) Your ConnectionString is incorrect. (high probability)
2) Your Database not exist on the specified location.
3) Your database service on server is not allowing network access. or database service is off.

connection string is right bcz another form is work.
database is also there.

it may be chance of service is off, which service is needed i m not use in network.

Add try...catch block and Message the exception in the catch block. this is the best way to catch the exact exception message.

you have not specified "server". Please check update your connection string properly with all attributes. check this

i install SQLEXPRESS in windows authentication mode, while i open SQL server its only display TARUN(SQL seveeer....)

i dont know why any instance name is not there.

as you are using windows authentication you can not do this. but i suggest you to create credentials to authenticate in sql server. this is not the correct way.

You can create one patch to update connection string. you do not need to go to each computer and update connection string. user need to click on that patch to update ConnectionSTring.

you already know username and password after creating new user in SQL server. and that you can add in connectionstring.
