In the Kozlov_sergey one you are being pointed to one page in which there are details on how to write a service and in the second link, you are being informed that there is an app that you can setup to make any of your applications to behave as a service. In the second answer you are getting you are receiving a perfect answer from the same auhor of the link that is being sent... There you will find the sample you are asking for...

You already got an "no effort" note and two votes of 1, I'm pretty much sure -- both for the same reason.

What else do you need? Do not expect big work to be done for you in this case. It happens rarely, when an expert is ***really*** interested and sympathized with the Inquirer.

Nice answer... 5!
Here's a 10 year old article:

Beginner's introductory guide to writing, installing, starting, stopping NT services[^]

The concepts should be the same or similar in VC++ 2008 too.

Thank you, Joan.

This is the shortest article on the topic I could imagine. Hope source code contains all the rest. Maybe this is exactly what is needed to start with. My 5.

Yeah, source code has the rest of it but it's probably for VC6. Wrote it a long time ago and never really updated it. Thanks SA!
