How to start external application and attach to process when start debugging

Hi Everyone,
How to start the external application and attach to process when I press the debugging button.
Up till now I have tried many times but still show the below error message.
Visual Studio 2013 Windows7 64 bit
"Microsoft Visual Studio Debugging Monitor(MSVSMON.EXE) failed to start. If this problem persists,please repair your Visual Studio installation via 'Add or Remove Programs' in Control Panel"

What I have tried:

Modify the regedit and restart the computer and vidusl studio

The message tell me to add or remove the viusal studio, but I have tried to reinstall the software.
The issue still exit!

Then it sounds like a Microsoft issue.

Hi,
I have just fixed the issue by downloaded and installed Visual Studio 2013 Update5.
I hope this is useful for anyone required!

Can you manually attach to that external program via Debug - Attach to Process after starting that program? (This question is for diagnostic purposes, I understand that you don't want to handle it this way.)

I hvae attached the application manually but the issue still exist!
