Crystal Reports version for Eclipse 2.0 - Suppo... | SCN[^]
According to this documents only 3 distros are officialy supported: ReadHat, Solaris and SUSE...All these are solid distros and you can pick any of them...

You are not learning Crystal Reports on a specific Linux/Windows, but via the development environment...Eclipse...
So after reading the basic documentation, you may go and see these demos...
